Overall Satisfaction with Webex App
Webex App is currently the preferred IM & Collaboration solution in our organization. It is being used across the whole organization and provide the easy and secure way how to communicate with colleagues and customers. Many of us have in Webex App also available calling features from our on-premise Cisco Unified communications Manager, so we can use our work phone number from everywhere.
- Communication with external users - they could be added to teams, spaces, and participate to meetings.
- Unified app with Webex Meetings and Webex Teams features in one place
- Can be integrated with on-premise CUCM solution as well as with cloud webex calling service.
- Webex App needs more CPU and RAM resources than Webex Meetings app, and can be slower on older computers.
- Webex App for Linux have not all the features than Webex App for Windows.
- Using of virtual background needs much more resources (CPU/RAM) than similar feature in concurrent apps (MS Teams, Zoom).
- Thanks to Webex App, we were able to work from home and communicate with our customers with almost "in person" experience during pandemic situation.
- Departments with Webex App integrated to our CUCM PBX stopped using desk phones, so they saved money for HW maintenance.
- Webex App is easy to use, so there are minimum costs for end user support.
Webex App is more integrated with our webex video devices and on-premise CUCM PBX solution and offers better way how to communicate with external participants - customers without the need to use multiple user accounts or instances of the app.
