Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is good for people who spend time on the field, meeting clients physically as well as virtually. A good tool to manage the sales team. WebEx is probably focusing more on that. As a consultant, I have to manage clients in multiple cities and hence, need to have a good tool to catch up with them on their progress and update them regarding tasks. Webex comes in handy here!

Alternatives Considered

Google Meet and Microsoft Teams

Since Google and Microsoft both have their own OS and email stack well penetrated within the ecosystem, it is tough to integrate Webex with all of them. As a standalone product, Webex is good but when it comes to a competitive landscape, G-suite or MS-office win the game over it. They provide more services with better connectivity across organizations.

Usability

Multiple tools available in the market. Webex has good UI and responds quickly. Other applications lag a bit. I have used G Meet and MS Teams in an organizational set-up and I found webex to be faster and more responsive. The only downside is inability to integrate smoothly with all other mailing systems and calendars. It has to be made automatic. I have to add meetings manually all the times.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for internal usage. Not good for B2B interactions as they may have their own preferred application. I have often encountered that the client prefers a different application for Video Conferencing/Meeting and we have to switch to that. When the calls are within the organization, this issue is not faced.
