Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

Used for day to day end user collaboration and meetings. After going remote working due to covid we have leveraged Cisco Webex to fill in all the cracks for work from home communication. We rely on Webex every day and it is our main stay platform for video and call conferencing as well as chat and file sharing.

  • Updates sometimes provide errors to the platform.
  • Downtime or service interruptions make things hard.
  • More integrations with other apps.
  • We had Webex before covid hit which helped.
  • Increase in performance for remote work.
  • Ability to keep projects aligned and planned meetings remote.
Webex App has now integrated the above mentioned into their workflow allowing us to use one tool instead of multiple. We found previous tools in our environment out-dated and decided to move to webex and become an inhouse all webex shop.
Cisco TAC is known for fixing and diagnosing issues quickly and efficiently. Always willing to see the issue till the end.
Since using the platform for the last 5 years many changes have been made in the front end and backend of the Webex app.
One of the things we all notice is that the platform has become much more stable and rarely crashes. We went from knowing Cisco support on a first name basis to rarely having to engage them anymore.

Overall Webex is a very powerful tool with lots and lots of possibilities and use cases. In house we find it almost has too much and sometimes the users are overwhelmed with how it works. I feel that our end users could benefit from taking a short how to video on the platform. With all the changes constantly happening to it, I feel some people dont realize the potential outside of just using it for the odd call and chat function. Overall the product is designed and backed very well.
Webex works really well in a use case scenario for Video and Call conferencing. This has been Webex's main focus since the beginning. However, because of the longevity of them being in the game I wish to see more innovation and original ideas instead of just "keeping" up with other platforms.

Cisco Webex Experience

We have integrated Miro as a tool to help us better collaborate internally and externally.
Having Miro allows our users to more easily build, plan, and progress projects and team building materials
Having sensitive data constantly flowing through a company is a very hard thing to manage. With Webex, knowing that the chat logs are encrypted helps us tremendously, especially from an auditing standpoint. For what we use it for day to day including chat, meetings, recordings and file sharing I am very confident using Webex knowing that the information is safe
With the introduction of noise suppression and real-time transcription we have seen an increase in our users productivity. In the past we had some users who would miss calls, meetings and events due to poor audio or being in a bad location at the time of the appointment. With noise suppression and transcription these users are able to join anywhere whether it be on the road, or active lifestyle and still feel as much a part of the conversation as their peers joining from a quiet place on PC
