In our organization, we use Webex App for remote collaboration, integration challenges, compliance and security and scalability. Regular video conferences with team meetings and client calls. Hosting webinars and training sessions to engage stakeholders and provide education. It also helps us in maintaining productivity and enhance collaboration in our organization making it easier to connect with each other regardless of location.

Pros and Cons

Pros

The Webex App design is user friendly which makes it easy for new users to navigate through the app without extensive training.
Users can start a meeting on one device and seamlessly switch to another, ensuring continuity whether they are on their computer or mobile.
Regular video conferences for team meetings, client calls and department collaboration.

Cons

Webex App can establish a more structured method for users to provide feedback and improvements would help the development teams better to understand the needs of users
Features available in main meetings such as polls and quizzes are not fully supported in breakout rooms
While Webex App does have noise reduction features, further improvement could enhance clarity during discussions, especially in noisy environments

Organizational Challenges Faced

At the time of covid we were stuck using Zoom. It was good but wasn't anything great, but after we switched to Webex App, we saw an instant change in our productivity. It is better at everything from features, quality and support everything is good with this. Ensuring data security and compliance with regulations while employees accessed company resources remotely.

It has streamlined our communication process between the teams. With other software, we were facing different issues, but because of the Webex App, we have better infra for communication between teams. It has made our work more flexible and has addressed most of the challenges faced by us. It's truly great for remote or hybrid work.

Hybrid Work Experience

It was challenging at first but now we have got used to it. It's amazing how fast we adapt to difficult times. Webex App helped us solve that we were not able to communicate properly, but after we started using Webex App, our communication became streamlined, and we became very productive.

Alternatives Considered

Class for Zoom

It has more functionality than Zoom. Zoom is only good if one is only looking for normal and audio calling software but if you are looking for a tool which is good for collaboration. Webex App also provides user friendly interface which is useful for both tech and less experienced users.

Scenarios where it is less appropriate are that they can improve their customer support requests and rapid prototyping sessions. Tools designed for prototyping and design collaboration, like Figma, offer better real time editing capabilities making them more efficient for this purpose
