Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Webex Meetings provided for continuity of relationships and instruction during a pandemic that shut down schools, separating teachers and their students, administrators and their staff, families and their communities. Webex Meetings allowed for classes to continue between districts and within districts, and keeps everyone connected and allows for the flow of communication that would have been lost if we had not had this product implemented in our organization.
  • Connecting face-to-face quickly and easily.
  • Providing for engagement anywhere with internet.
  • Allowing sharing of ideas and progressing workflow.
  • Breaking barrier of distance to connect anyone.
  • Secure building and maintenance of customer base.
  • There is a perception that other web conferencing tools are easier, and Webex has to continue to make things easier, which I think they are doing.
  • This is mainly an enterprise product, but there are ways to make it friendlier with education in the K-12 sector.
  • Mostly I love it and what it does for us in keeping everyone connected!
  • We've been able to seamlessly transition to telework during the pandemic because Webex was implemented at our organization before the pandemic shut everything down.
  • Webex has evolved with the changes the pandemic threw at us to help stay connected.

Webex Meetings allows for connections anywhere, anytime, as long as there is a strong internet connection or at least a good audio signal (call-in feature) and makes the world available to our teachers and students, securely and efficiently.

Using Webex Meetings

Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors

Our organization formed a team to use and assess multiple platforms to choose one that we would implement in our division. We looked at Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, and a few others, but none could compete with the bells and whistles of Webex Meetings and the app formerly known as Webex Teams. We implemented Webex division-wide, and it saved us serious headaches when the pandemic hit, as everything was already in place for us to work and collaborate seamlessly from anywhere, anytime. We never missed a beat and continue to appreciate the platform that allows us to connect with our internal clients, school districts, their communities, and the world!

Webex Meetings Reliability

We've been able to get Webex Meetings up and running for our organization and for other clients relatively quickly and easily. There have been a few hiccups that cost a lot of man hours to clean up, but in general, the spin up of sites and configuration can be done quickly and easily.
There are always glitches and downtime with any product, but Webex seems to me to always be available, and with the troubleshooting features it provides, we can usually narrow down the issues to something other than the Webex Meeting product, close to every time.
Webex Meetings, in my experience, is close to seamless. I sometimes have issues with sharing virtual backgrounds, but that is really the only thing that slows down my progress in Webex Meetings, and there are workarounds for that.
