Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
The deployment of Webex collaboration and video technology in schools and offices has been the largest investment in education for the Department of Education Victoria. I consulted with teachers, corporate staff, trainers, and developers who supported the adoption of the technology within DET. The relevance of the supporting materials, videos, and training has been a significant factor in the success of schools as they have needed to move to a remote classroom learning style during the COVID-19 response. At Taleka we provide adoption services and drive innovation for digital technologies across many industries including education, health, government, oil and gas, consumer goods, retail, and hospitals among many more.
- Ability to integrate with industry leaders.
- Engage attendees with sharing, chat, Q&A, interactive polling, and whiteboarding during online meetings.
- Continuous product development directly from Users experience and suggestions.
- Use less bandwidth during meetings.
- Ability to rename attendees who have joined by audio only.
- Using Breakout Sessions where participants are in the breakout room but are also in the main and their name still appears in the main room. Kind of like in no-man land.
- The host tries to move them but it says they are already in the break-out room just 'not in session'.
- For one of Taleka's Clients a significant ROI. Rather than technology sitting around and being looked at, it is being used. In May 2020, used by 75,250 Hosts and 1,504,183 Attendees
- For Taleka , a significate ROI with time and money saved on travel. Regional travel, interstate and overseas.
- Time and efficiencies in reaching mammoth numbers of people instantaneously.
This is all about preference. For me Webex Meetings has everything you need, easy to use and can be downloaded quickly. I can use it on my PC or my mobile phone and move between devices. Security is important for me and the ability to lock my meeting for that added security makes it feel safe. When sharing a specification application versus sharing my screen, this too provides another layer of security. Their last upgrade when they brought in all the cool features from Webex Events like Breakout Sessions and Q&A into Meetings was gold. Having this at the beginning of March 2020 would have been amazing while delivering online learning solutions.
