Although simplicity of use Isn’t that friendly, It is a well organized tool for employees to use for when they’re needing something to expense for companies to manage a quicker rate. Plus, for the employee, this generally is much easier than jumping through itemization hoops and issues where Webexpenses can be customized to eliminate fields like those.
The support center for Webexpenses is not necessary because, for the most part, companies will manage and track this themselves. It’s important for companies to truly look out for their employees. I found out Webexpenses does give the best support when using this tool. However, if an employee truly needs to use it, it is a quick and easy tool to access.
I haven’t used Webexpenses to automate and save time through using anything such as generative AI, but I can speak to the fact that invoice processing is much quicker than most other expense programs claim submissions can take anywhere between 2 to 5 minutes to complete an expense approval is usually instantaneous.
Most of these requirements surrounded our policy compliances. For example we needed a lot of policies surrounding global infrastructure and making sure that we have organized ways of laying out invoice and reporting. System configuration not as much. There were no specific product features we were looking for at the time of purchase.
The biggest difference between Webexpenses and Concur honestly lie in the simplicity of what is needed from the employee and their expenses. Concur asks for a lot of itemization sometimes and may even have to import other receipts and invoices that are spent by the employee and then re-itemize them back into the system. Webexpenses, eliminates by simply allowing the company to customize their own fields and their own itemization field so that they can leave that responsibility back up to the company that was going to do it originally in the first place.

Webexpenses is best suited for those looking to bring a travel management tool to their employees of either 25-100 at a size. It’s also perfect for expense management too if you need a place to manage and track all expenses, plus the ability to pick those back up each year for tax purposes.

Our financial officers approve of cost, cost is relatively low, and our business partners for the company have never had issues with using webexpenses. We will renew for the future.
