Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
We used to use a manual system of employees completing manual forms then e-mailing them to Line Managers for approval then e-mailing them to Finance. We had problems with expenses being submitted late and being lost, and Finance had no record of them until the time of payment. An online system solves all of these problems and gives greater control and transparency.
Pros
- Approvals are much quicker.
- Employees can complete claims as they travel.
- Employees receive payment much quicker.
Cons
- There are so many configurable options that it is sometimes hard to find what is needed.
- We are charged for active users only so our monthly fee is around £275 this is expensive to us but is offset by a huge time-saving.
We only use the system for claims submission and approval. We do not use an invoicing module as we are happy with our current systems. Webexpenses does integrate well with Xero.
