Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
We use WebExpenses to track all work related expenses and ensure they are costed to the correct project. This includes mileage, equipment and personal protective equipment. This allows managers to approve expenses, keep tracks of receipts and budgets and manage overall finances for projects.
Pros
- Very easy to use interface which is intuitive for users
- It allows you to track your own personal expenses and review them in order to be more budget friendly
Cons
- It can be quite confusing to add mileage for return journeys. If possible, this could be simplified and made more intuitive
- It would be nice to categorise your claims in different folders. There are currently some automatic ones for claimed, rejected etc; but particularly for people who spend money from several different funding pots, this would help keep track of money spent.
- Streamlined workflow which allows employees to track expenses when it suits them and their managers can approve when it suits them
- Reduced costs through a higher degree of transparency
