Overall Satisfaction with Wistia

Applifast uses Wistia to host our videos for use in a variety of media marketing. We share video links with our clients so that they can effortlessly watch our videos, which is especially useful to get around websites that are not whitelisted.
Once the videos are uploaded, I send the sales team a link to each new video, and they share that link with their clients as they see fit. It's a great sales tool.
  • I like the fact I can make a tweak to the video, description, etc., and I can upload the revision seamlessly without having to delete the old video, upload a new video, activate the SEO words again, etc.
  • The billing is simplified -- it's easy to forward as a PDF or print it out and hand it over to the finance dept.
  • Best of all, these guys are quirky and unique. Their content, eblasts, etc. are entertaining and are a welcomed addition to the normally boring emails that pop up in my email list.
  • Keep up the great work -- be yourself Wistia... it's working!
  • I would like to see a more organized way to catalog my uploaded videos in groups or folders. Perhaps there already is and I just haven't discovered it yet.
  • We use the videos as a sales aid to our sales and marketing staff, a brochure gives you specs and a description, but with a video link the potential customer can view a video and follow a demonstration on a new product or a repair to an old one.
We have found that many companies do not whitelist YouTube, and it is against policy to access the channel. By using Wistia, we can get around that predicament.
When I am customizing my listing, using the web color selector to change the color of the project, the color I choose isn't entered on the first or second attempt, which a bit frustrating at times.
The whole procedure from starting a project, customizing it, uploading the video, adding SEO, and making it active is fairly straightforward, easy to navigate, and provides a hassle-free execution.
By integration, I assume you mean linking the video to other types of media?
I like the fact that it gives you various options to expedite the video, whether it is a hyperlink, code you can embed into HTML, etc.
I would like to know if there was an easy way to link a Wistia video to the YouTube channel and import the SEO info etc., so that I am not duplicating the procedure.
