Overall Satisfaction with Workfront

  • Centralize projects in one solution
  • Manage digital work processes

Pros

  • Managing resources and aligning resources for new engagements is a critical example of a capacity that Workfront does particularly well.

Cons

  • Workfront is much better suited as a campaign management tool as opposed to a detailed project management tool. Using a 4/40 or 8/80 approach breaks down with larger engagements as the desire in workfront is to be as detailed as possible.
  • Workfront has allowed our organization to standardize our deliverable lists and level set our efforts throughout our customer space. We can further collaborate and gain efficiencies from resource standardization.
We have benefited from internal collaboration to be able to provide better quality tracking and content to our clients.
As an internal marketing agency or a small team, Workfront is specifically tailored to providing an excellent experience. As a large marketing consultant agency, it's less effective to be client facing versus other project management solutions. Utilizing this product as an internal team without dedicated professional project management seems to enable highly effective project execution.
