Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use Wrike to track all of our creative projects (text and design) from start to finish. Our company has offices in several countries around the world, so having a common program for all of us to follow when developing marketing campaigns, content, etc. is critical. My customized Wrike dashboard is the first thing I look at every day, to show me exactly what I have due and when. It's critical to delivering the highest quality work, on time, and with all the right approvals and signoffs.
- Facilitates quick stakeholder and legal reviews of projects
- Enables users to build a customized and useful dashboard
- Provides areas for group feedback on projects
- Acts as a central project hub for users at every stage
- I made a "starred tasks" column for myself on my dashboard, because my specific writing contributions have different due dates than the due date of the entire project. To stay on top of things, I need to come in every day and see an overview of when my specific writing content is due. I have achieved that, and it's great--but alas, there is no "sort by date" capability for custom columns. So, when I come in, I have to look several times at my list of 12 projects/dates, and sort them in my head to make sure I know what to do first. I would be so pleased if you could add a "sort by date" function to the custom widgets feature!
- Ability to track all 200 projects we've overseen this past quarter.
- Provided hard numbers of how many projects we've created for each campaign and industry area of specialization.
- Tracked number of days each project took our team to complete, making it easy to set and surpass goals to reduce turnaround/production time for each--building efficiency and driving results.
I used Workfront at a previous job and found it to be overly complex and not user-friendly. I also used Jira, which I did not find as intuitive as Wrike. However, Jira did have a very useful capability to run reports on each project, showing the time that each contributor spent, trends across months/quarters, improvement in production times, etc. Perhaps Wrike has these came reporting capabilities, but I haven't found them yet. I'd like to know more, because I would love to run this data and track our progress.
