Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We track account billing, task assignments and e-review projects, as well as log time spent on each assignment. We migrated from a different system as a company a few months ago and it is my understanding that everything that can be done in Wrike, is being done in Wrike. We're trying to slim down the amount of platforms we use as a company and I think it has been narrowed down significantly because of Wrike.

Pros

  • Track client billing for account team
  • Assigning hours to freelance employees
  • Time tracking the amount of work that goes into each project vs estimates

Cons

  • It is not ergonomic for the creative team to track their hours
  • Projects aren't easy to label simply and clearly
  • The UI is clunky compared to other time tracking platforms
I have not used these features, but am also reticent to use any AI features unless they provide an extreme material benefit beyond mild convenience. The ecological impact on integrating AI into everything we do seems wildly shortsighted. Interacting with and playing with an extremely powerful tool that wreaks havoc on the environment in the name of streamlining workflow doesn't sound like a smart trade to me.
I'm seeing that it is useful for other people within the agency, but the creative team is struggling to adapt to the new UI. The biggest issue for me is that it isn't easy to look at my resourcing at a glance, and tracking my hours for any given project and actually logging them takes some doing, whereas it was effortless with the previous tool.
I did not select Wrike - the company did, and I am using it as instructed. Personally, I've found Harvest easier to use and glean info from quickly.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

No

Would you buy Wrike again?

No

It seems to have simplified things for the accounts team - as they spend most of their time in Wrike, and were the ones that wanted to migrate all time tracking and project resourcing over from the platform we used to use. It does seem like it has been a rocky transition for the creative team though, as tracking hours isn't always intuitive and seeing our resourcing at a glance isn't nearly as simple as the previous platform we used.
