Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

My organization uses Wrike for project management. We keep track of progress on projects, delegate tasks, send requests, collaborate, and otherwise coordinate our work using Wrike.

Pros

  • Request form creation and management
  • Task delegation
  • Setting deadlines

Cons

  • Finding and implementing Blueprints is needlessly complicated. It should be easier to create a task from a blueprint.
  • The fact that it is rather expensive to upgrade Wrike to a level where it can communicate directly with other platforms, such as Airtable, is a huge hindrance. My team tracks a lot of information in Airtable and we have to transfer it to Wrike manually because we cannot justify the high cost.
  • Wrike has improved cross-divisional communication at my organization, but this is anecdotal and can't be described in numbers.
  • The quality of our work has improved as a result of improved communication.
I do not use these features. I am not interested in what AI has to offer, as it is often imprecise, frustrating to use, and of lower quality than what can be done with simple human effort. It is upsetting to see so many corporations trying to get "ahead of the curve" with AI by offering subpar features.
I find Wrike highly usable, but with room for improvement. My team benefits greatly from Wrike request forms, for example. However, we've tried to make our workflow more robust by using blueprints, but actually implementing the blueprints is a clunky process and finding them is far more difficult than it should be.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

No

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

No

Wrike is well-suited for internal project management. It is not suitable for coordinating with contractors outside of the organization. The main weakness of Wrike is that it doesn't "play well" with other applications, which causes it to be siloed off from the other software we use to track and streamline our work.
