Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Our primary use of Wrike is about making sure every person is doing what they are expected to do. It helps funnel communication into one workstream to be able to assign or collaborate as necessary to get the task done. It also allows us through permissions to be able to hide management tasks in different folders so we can work together on the same platform without having the risk of anyone seeing it that shouldn't. Wrike also helps keeps us organized and efficient with the use of it's folder structure.

Pros

  • Allows collaboration between colleagues
  • Keeps everything organized and on time
  • Gives you transparency in the workload of your employees to ensure everyone is focusing on the correct tasks at hand.

Cons

  • The mobile app isn't very good, It's not as intuitive to navigate as the app
  • The desktop app doesn't sync as well as the web app. I have to refresh several times a day so that it can "catch up" and reflect the correct status or date of task in the dashboard
  • When the timer is below 1 minute, it still hangs out in the top right corner, so when I'm logging my time on all my tasks at the end of the day, it usually messes up my logging and I have to click off and then click back on to get past it
  • We were able to use Wrike reporting data to successfully identify what tasks were not really needed, where people were spending time inappropriately, to help reduce the labor force, helping us shave hundreds of thousands in overhead.
  • We were able to convert all procedure and process guides into the Wrike structures through either blueprints or regular tasks into "live" documents. We were able to save hundreds of hours in time over the year since the documents are now "alive" and we can change the processes where the whole team can see them in real time.
  • From a time management perspective, we were able to calculate the time tasks should take and project them forward onto new tasks to ensure the teams stay efficient.
I have not used these features yet
The implementation of blueprints, allows us to "launch" multi step processes so that we're no longer forget steps. As an example when we hire a new employee, we can launch a "New Onboarding" project which creates and appropriately assigns 20 tasks so that nothing is forgotten by any deadline dates.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

Some scenarios where Wrike would be well suited for a company would be for: Time tracking of the team- this will show how long, minute by minute some one and/or a group of people have spent on a task or project. This can be helpful to compare past projects times to see if efficiency gains were had. A scenario where this app wouldn't be so helpful is if you were trying to use it for a time clock, because this app doesn't calculate the time by itself on time worked, it reflects only what's been given it. i.e. good data in, good data out. so I have a team member that puts in more time that they actually spent on it, I'll never know.
