Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use it as a task management utility (in a pseudo-light project management capacity), leveraging the time entries, nested folder structure for top-level customers, then engagement type (projects, support, etc.) and further break down into individual Wrike tasks that we assign folks to and log time against for the purposes of tracking and bill-out.
Pros
- Creating tasks and populating with details
- Notifications and mentions
- Very simplified time entry
Cons
- Missing ability to have proper custom lookup/tags (e.g. for an actual Customer ID to be flagged on a folder/task)
- API endpoints could be better and easier to access for reporting purposes
- Time entries layout could be simpler and easier to drill into comments and see datasheet views or entry forms
- Helped to simplify task set up and assignment
- Provided an easy to use interface for users
- Made reporting much more challenging when consolidating with CRM and ERP data

Wrike is definitely more robust in totality, but it doesn't have some of the customization around custom fields that monday.com has. Additionally the UI and UX of monday is slightly more user and mobile friendly, even if it's a bit more simplistic and 'bubbly' for lack of a better term.
