Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Xactly is used across our entire sales organization to compensate our salesforce, to analyze and model our compensation plans, and its reports are used as the source data for all of our revenue reporting and sales productivity reports.
  • We like having the ability to make changes (adding incentives, changing accelerators, etc) at our fingertips.
  • The agility of this application is a huge advantage; it can interface directly with a number of best in class CRMs which adds value to our salesforce and really optimizes our use of both tools.
  • The talent at Xactly is another differentiator that sets them apart from the competition. Every interaction we've had with their staff, regardless their title or department, has been positive. Xactly not only offers a best in class sales performance management application, but they also offer a best in class customer experience.
  • The only thing I'd like to see differently is when doing a search, once you type the keyword or name you are searching for, my personal preference would be that hitting enter/return would prompt the search rather than having to click the search button.
  • Building and testing new plans used to take weeks with our former product, this only takes hours (and in some case, minutes) with Xactly.
Varicent - horrendous customer service and far more expensive
Oracle Incent - literally had our compensation administrators in tears
Have a compensation administrator on your staff that is savvy with building formulas and SQL would be helpful. Having a dedicated resource fully trained makes all the difference in the world.
