Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent
We use it as a compensation tool where sales uses it check their commissions. It's a very robust tool which helps to manage the incentives very smoothly. It also has the functionality of plan design where we can create compensation plans as per the business requirements and keep the quotas and targets saved in Xactly Incent. It also allows setting up of crediting rules and configuration to automatically calculate bonuses, etc., as per the orders.
Pros
- It calculates commissions automatically when orders are uploaded
- It is used to send compensation plans for reps to work accordingly
- It can be used for analytics purposes as well
- It also allows to create process groups which, when kicked off imports the attainment directly into Xactly Incent from the source
Cons
- If Xactly Incent could show backdated data as old as 6 years, it would be helpful
- Integration to more softwares and plan components with ease
- The batches run a bit slow when more orders are uploaded in a single batch
- The positive impact is that it diminishes the sales rep's curiosity about what incentives he/she will receive for a particular period, thereby giving a smooth experience org-wide.
- It has replaced the inhouse modeling tools or manual processes, thereby making the administration easy.
We are setting up crediting rules to fire commissions via orders and using those comms values for our analytics purposes against their targets. Allows analysis of variance between on target earnings vs. actual earnings which helps to according amend the sales strategies.
We are displaying the annual/quarterly quotas in the respective profiles and also attainment % indicator for reps to view and perform accordingly.
It helps us to directly migrate data from our CRM platforms to Xactly Incent. By integration, it helps to automatically fetch orders via connect processes and calculate commissions.
It isn't used by any of the other teams except the Finance Team.
