Overall Satisfaction with Xero

Xero allows fast data collection and fast capture into meaningful reports to keep on top of accounts. Compliance made easier as well.

Pros

  • Collect bank data
  • Insights into areas that need to be addressed.
  • Automate bank data
  • Collect hubdoc data into Xero
  • MTD tax compliance

Cons

  • Fixed asset register is awesome, but a Push of this into a Tax Register would be awesome.
  • Financed assests. It would be wonderful if each asset had a full amort in xero.
  • Potential to double my clients.
  • Xero automation allows meaningful work as minor tasks done by Xero.
  • Xero has given Mitax the ability to teach my clients bookkeeping allowing Mitax to concentrate on Advisory.
If I can teach a non Xero user the basics of AR, and Recon Receipts in literally small sessions of 20min x 3 that is amazing 👏 I ain't that good a teacher. I have to give the Xero 80% credit.
It keeps my sanity not to worry about the data and a server.

From a cost I cannot say it has improved as I am too small.
I have not encountered any issues.
I prefer to just say I'm a Xero only practice. U cannot sign up if u do not want to use Xero.

Well suited for everything but unless an appropriate add on is available I could never recommend for a manufacturing business.
