Overall Satisfaction with Xero

We use Xero as our accounting software for our website business. It is a mid size business. We use it to process all our invoices, payments, and payables. It is very user friendly and intuitive. Navigation within Xero is easy and we can access all the reports we need for tracking business activities. Also our payroll software integrates to Xero without issues.

Pros

Cons

  • I find bank reconciling cumbersome, but this could be a user problem rather than a Xero problem.
  • Made day-to-day much easiern - from invoicing to receiving payments.
  • Payroll seamlessly integrates into Xero
  • Reports can be customized to meet the needs of the business.
It works! A person new to accounting software will find it logically laid out. The learning curve is easier than other available software.
Love that it can be accessed anywhere and anytime. Just had an owner in Europe for two months but customers never knew he wasn't in the office!
We use a OnPay for processing payroll twice a month. Payroll integrates immediatey into Xero with no problem.
We have another business that uses QuickBooks Online and we find more problems with it. Xero is the software we have recommended to friends and associates looking for an accounting system. Also Xero is reasonably priced.

I recently recommended Xero to a friend for her new start up
business. Xero has all of the accounting tools needed and the layout is easy to
navigate. Xero is also responsive to questions and will walk you through
solving problems that arise.
