Overall Satisfaction with Xero

Xero provides us with a quick and easy way to provide bookkeeping services to our clients. It is highly customizable and allows for quick reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions. The ability to send a customizable list of unreconciled transactions directly to our clients is a very easy way to clear outstanding items.

Cons

  • I haven't used it enough to come across many issues with functionality
  • Time saved on bookkeeping
  • Reduced errors on bookkeeping
  • Increased efficiency to clear client queries
There's nothing I can think of to improve usability based on my needs.
I can only comment based on our usage so far. We have only used Xero long enough to benefit from the increased efficiency in bookkeeping processes. I anticipate further efficiencies will be realized once we are able to work through some year-end files on which the bookkeeping has been completed in Xero.
Integration seemed pretty simple. The original import of user data from other bookkeeping software was a long process, but the ability to integrate with other software will come in handy in the future.
Xero is my first choice for bookkeeping for our clients. I now refer anyone looking for bookkeeping software to Xero.

Xero seems to be much more customizable and user friendly than QuickBooks Online. It's features allow us to complete client bookkeeping much quicker than we could before using Xero. I haven't yet come across another option for online bookkeeping that beats the features and functionality that Xero has to offer.
