Overall Satisfaction with Zapier

Time and communication. Before, I would have to sync up data between 4 different spreadsheets, convey that to our pipeline software, then convey that to team member pipelines as well. With Zapier, it's easy to make Zaps that connect all of our spreadsheets to our pipelines and create simple steps to update each portion. The automation has made it faster to complete tasks and allowed us to focus our energy on other important tasks without falling behind on more tedious ones.
  • The user interface is extremely easy to use. They walk you through setting up your first Zap, they suggest commonly used Zaps so you hardly have to do anything if you can find what you're looking for there, and it's really easy to set up your own if you don't.
  • The scope of the integrations that they offer is also phenomenal.
  • For those of us who only need a few Zaps and a few tasks completed, it's free and easy to use.
  • If you need multi-step Zaps, you will have to pay. And if you need more than 100 tasks completed per month, you'll also have to pay.
  • There are parts of setting up certain steps that can be a little confusing/involved if you're not well-versed in the integration you're using. For example, to have the Google Sheets integration select for a certain cell/row, you'd need to know the code name of the cell/row, which is usually a random string of characters (well, seemingly random to those who don't know), which can make that particular part of the Zap difficult to customize to the extent that you want.
  • It's made life faster and processes are much easier. I don't have to set aside a chunk of my day anymore for cyclical, mundane tasks because they are done for me.
  • Keeping track of multiple processes (progress, updates, etc.) is all automated, and very easy to set up or check in on.
I actually use both IFTTT and Zapier, but Zapier is more business-oriented as far as the integrations it offers go. So I use Zapier for my work-related automations, like Trello, Google Sheets/Forms, Slack updates/reminders, and IFTTT for personal-automations, like social media, Amazon Echo, etc.
Zapier is great for automating the processes you may already have in place. For example, I have a process where a user fills out a Google Form, then plugs that information into a Trello card with certain labels and lists. With Zapier, all they have to do is fill out the Google Form and the Trello card will be formatted for them.

Zapier is definitely more business-oriented than personal-life-oriented, so there are some integrations you may not see, such as smart home type automations.
