Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow
I use Ziflow to move our packaging and labels through the approval process across multiple teams in our company. I, or another designer, makes the label in Adobe Illustrator and then Ziflow is perfect for receiving feedback about the artwork. Not only can each person comment about specific parts of the artwork using Ziflow tools. This avoids confusing problems that I've had at other companies in the past and allows for specificity and streamlines the entire process.
Pros
- Status is clear when edits are needed or not
- Specific comments on artwork
- Archiving work and finding archived work
- Clear User Experience design
- Multiple proofs in one and multiple rounds of proofs
Cons
- Some confusing things in the user experience like "replacing workflow"
- possible integration with google docs or monday.com
- Progress bar on the homepage can be confusing
- Improved efficiency for design team
- time saved on rounds of edits
- increased output of labels and packaging

Ziflow is a great product specifically for my needs in packaging design. My creative director has taught all of the designers in the creative team how to use it because it is not something any of us were familiar with. For example, the Adobe Suite is a breadth of programs that designers are very familiar with because they are used in school. I appreciate the help with learning the Ziflow program because it can be hard to learn for some users.
