Overall Satisfaction with Zoho CRM

We use Zoho to track all of our potential opportunities through the entire business process. It's invaluable for keeping track of each opportunity and where it is in the process. We also run reports several times a week to inform coworkers about new opportunities and leads, as well as updates to existing records, so they can make better business decisions.

Pros

  • Tracks records through business lifecycle
  • It's easy to create, run, and export reports
  • Fairly easy to redesign and customize

Cons

  • Can't create a requirement when moving a record FROM a stage, only TO
  • Can't customize extra sections at bottom of layout (Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices, etc)
  • Not easy to review accounts by hierarchy/parent
Zoho is just as easy to use and I find it just as easy to create reports in Zoho as in Salesforce. Salesforce is stronger in hierarchy and parent relationships, which can be crucial for data cleansing and data maintenance. I did not have a role in selecting Zoho CRM.

Zoho is very well suited for tracking opportunities, leads, sales, etc through the entire lifecycle. The ribbon at the top makes it super easy to see where in the process something is and to update it. Reports are very easy to create and update. I had no experience with Zoho before I started at this position less than a year ago, and I easily learned to enter records, create reports, and even redesign layouts.

Using Zoho CRM

45 - Most of our users are in business development, account management, project management, proposal development/management, and program management.
2 - Our Zoho CRM administrators are the most frequent users of the product. They are business development experts with experience using other CRMs, running reports, managing and supporting users, and entering data. They have experience cleaning and manipulating data, improving the user experience, and creating reports and charts for use in various departments and use cases across organizations.

Zoho CRM is easy to use and user friendly. It's usually quite easy to update and personalize the layouts. Our business is not a standard sales organization, and we have been able to use it successfully for our purposes. We actually created 3 different layouts to suit our organization. After some brief instruction, I can create and run reports easily.

Evaluating Zoho CRM and Competitors

  • Ease of Use
Since the CRM is managed by non-IT staff, it had to be fairly easy to use and update. The admins have CRM experience but are not IT professionals. They needed to be able to make changes to suit our organization, run reports easily, and train others in the organization.
We are happy with our decision to go with Zoho CRM.
