Acquisio

Acquisio is a really good platform to manage search and display campaigns, but it is probably not the best if you want to manage social advertising. If you are really savvy with reporting I would strongly recommend the use of Acquisio. You can make custom reports and send them automatically to your customers. That gives you more time to focus on optimization instead of reporting.

In my opinion, LinkedIn Lead Accelerator is very well suited for B2B companies that want to target their B2B clients. If the company is B2C oriented, it would be pretty expensive for them to find and acquire sufficient amount of clients, it is better to use other platforms, such as Facebook or Twitter.

Pros

  • Reporting - robust reporting suite that saves hours every week.
  • BBM - manages campaign budgets and optimizes bids.
  • Great customer service.

  • It auto-populates the application forms with information from users’ LinkedIn profiles and allows them to instantly submit those forms thereby saving us time in gathering the additional information.

Cons

  • The few times we needed assistance from our Account Manager, it was not good at all. You won't be able to get them on the phone. All problems are addressed via email after long waits for responses. I wouldn't recommend Acquisio for novices.

  • As an integration partner the only challenge we faced was coordinating our strategic services teams to provide a single recommendation/plan to mutual clients. This was easily addressed through a communication plan agreed to by both parties.

I think the platform, with the latest release updates has a lot of great potential. The main decision, currently, is price and how that gets passed on to our clients. There has to be a conscious decision made on platform cost vs client spend and overall budget vs revenue.

Within the interface there is an instant chat support feature that you can use to get help right away without having to pick up the phone or look for an email address. We have have an account manager who responds to emails quickly and is always helpful. Anytime issues require further tech support we are kept up to date on the progress of the issue and they are usually resolved the same day.

Alternatives Considered

Not quite as seamless as Marin whose editing tool seemed better but also not as expensive and fit better into our agency's budget.

We worked with many data providers, in both B2B and B2C. While each has its strengths and weaknesses, it really comes down to identifying scenarios there there is a good fit. Bizo stood above everyone related to both the breadth, accuracy, and performance of their B2B data asset.

  • By working with clients to not only address media buying but also use their data to model against user groups for site optimization, dynamic creative, email, etc. Bizo created significantly more value than a single channel data solution.
