Sendoso is a gift sending platform designed to support B2B sales and ABM, and provide a sales accelerant.
I feel RollWorks as a platform was the easiest to use and navigate versus the others on this list given our maturing and requirements. Also, the RollWorks platform was the most cost-effective. Also, the team at RollWorks was the easiest to reach to set up a quick demo and in …
RollWorks is far superior when it comes to its ABM advertising platform. The user-friendliness of it and the hyper-advanced reporting for playbooks is fantastic. I think they have room to improve when it comes to lead scoring and intent data. Other platforms like Demandbase …
RollWorks is the most efficient platform for cost-conscious clients and is typically what we recommend for a company that is starting its ABM strategy. For more robust clients, that have the budget, we tend to recommend 6sense because of the intended functionality and the …
Having used both I would say that RollWorks is a good entry-level ABM tool, but it just hasn't caught up to Terminus yet. Expect some delays and hiccups - which I suppose is to be expected with a newer solution. Also, expect limitations on reporting and integration with SFDC vs …
From a technology standpoint, RollWorks has fewer bells and whistles than 6sense and Demandbase but it works well for an entry point for ABM. RollWorks also has a better engagement team than my experience with the other platforms.
All of these platforms are very helpful for running an account-based approach. For pure account-based advertising, I've found Rollworks is the easiest to get started with. Terminus and Demandbase are terrific as well. I'd say they offer more functionality, a bit more …
I was not involved in the selection process however I know other companies were evaluated (ex: Terminus). I think RollWorks was strictly chosen due to pricing over other features but it's just a guess at this point. That's all my knowledge into this area of the business …
RollWorks is better than the below because, AdRoll - this is highly tailored for B2C organizations and is not very useful for companies who are B2B and deal with a low volume of traffic 6th Sense: had very limited options and account-based landing pages were very expensive …
The major difference I have seen between Rollworks and competitors is that Rollworks seems to be a much less complex platform. While other tools focus on things like personalization, sales activation, and automation, Rollworks focuses on target accounts and advertising which …
With lots of great platforms out there, it will depend on what your organization's top goals are. For our company, we have had a big challenge with data. With RollWorks beating all other [competitors] when we tested match rates, it was a no-brainer for us to partner with …
RollWorks is head and shoulders above Terminus as far as to reach, engagement, usability, and customer experience - we ended our contract early with Terminus because the results were so poor. So RollWorks has been a breath of fresh air. We compared with 6Sense and Demandbase …
RollWorks is the Kia of cars for account based advertising platforms. It's cost effective but doesn't have all the bells and whistles you can get with a more robust solution like Triblio or 6sense.
I used AdRoll in a prior company - AdRoll is a sister company to NextRoll. I didn't look outside the AdRoll family when choosing a retargeting solution due to the positive quality and experience with AdRoll. We simply chose NextRoll because it was the product best suited for …
I honestly think Alyce has a better format - the landing page is a lot more useful and as a user I get a lot more out of it than I did Sendoso. I think is also varies depending on the company and how they want their gifts organized, but I really do feel like Alyce really tops …
Sendoso Adoption: we struggled with sales adoption. They never fully bought into Sendoso campaigns. With Alyce, all sales reps are using the tool and there's accountability by each team member. They love using the tool because it's so easy.
Focus on Personalization: Our primary goal is to deeply personalize gifts based on individual preferences, Alyce's reputation for thoughtful curation was a deciding factor.
User-Friendly Interface: Ease of use was a critical consideration, and a straightforward, user-friendly …
We selected Sendoso because of the integrations they had with HubSpot, Amazon, Square, and more. And their ability to meet the needs of multiple teams in our organizations.
Reachdesk does not have the same gift card policy as Sendoso. They do not make you pay for gift cards that are not redeemed even if the email is opened. I find this to be a significant leg up over Sendoso because this policy seems unfair and creates a lot of waste in our budget.
Besides DoorDash, is the overall robust first solution I've used, and would not change it! Ease of use and user interface enables anyone to use the solution.
When I joined RollWorks, we were using Sendoso, I am most familiar with Sendoso's interface and capabilities. I like Sendoso's selection of gifts and ability to choose the value of an e-gift card. My favorite Sendoso feature is the ability to send a specific item via Amazon.
Sendoso has a more flexible solution than Alyce and at a better price. In addition, it has a wider breadth of eGift options than PFL has. I think PFL does have better inventory tracking but overall needed more on the front end to make it worth it (and gifting in more …
Sendoso is super
easy to use, their Salesforce integration is a game-changer, tracking
capabilities are solid, and their customer support is as good as you could hope
It's way better. PFL is extremely limited and better designed for mass print mailers. PFL prices are also outrageously high; all you can do is laugh when you get the quotes.
Sendoso does everything I wanted it to do, except [for] really get into AI learning and crawling the web for customer information. Alyce does an okay job at that but you are paying for it. We encouraged our representatives to build a relationship with the prospect to earn trust …
RollWorks is fantastic for businesses whose websites are the engine that drive their business. Got lots of great content you can redirect your leads to? Then a RollWorks campaign will do that perfectly. If your site isn't the engine that drives your business, or if you don't have a target lead the list with email addresses/domains, then RollWorks may not be the best product for you.
For the most part when we have been curating our own swag and having it sent to the warehouse we have had great luck at keeping our costs minimal and then curating a holiday or themed swag box for our staff to be sent. The ease at which we can set up a build your own box and have it curated how we like is fantastic and super helpful. We love the touch of the "handwritten" notes as well! Our team always say they love these. There have been a few instances where we had issues with Sendoso and how something was handled. One example is when we created and ordered glass travel mugs from KeepCup to be sent to our team. Some of them arrived damaged and they were rejected before we could even do anything about it, we were told after the fact and not given any ability to work with the Vendor for replacements and Sendoso with a plan to use the cups that were still in tact. Through this we lost 4 boxes of inventory and hundreds of dollars of swag for our team and clients - which doesn't sound like a lot but w are a small company and this has a bit impact on us. Not to mention resolving this issue then took 5+ months of admin power and time. In the end we didn't get much resolve and being the customer in the situation felt like we were in between two companies and their policies, KeepCup did all they could to work with us for a resolution but Sendoso didn't. We felt like we got the short end of the stick in this instance
It helps you intimately target users from your targeted accounts list on multiple advertising platforms in a highly effective way.
Their customer success and support team are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your success.
The reporting capabilities of the platform. The ability to really dig deep into the micro-interactions from accounts and contacts across your targeted accounts list.
The Custom Brand Shop has been a real game-changer.
Easy to place curation requests and quick responses.
The ability to send items through Amazon but also include inventoried items is great for higher value gift bundles and lets you avoid having to source items that you may not be 100% sure about the quantity needed.
The price is a little high for the product provided.
Some features require a certain number of won opportunities or open opportunities to leverage, which could be difficult for a small/new business.
This product has fewer features than some competitors like it does not include attribution modeling for other pieces of the funnel or predictive models I have seen in other products.
Due to the fast impact of RollWorks in a short period of time across both marketing and sales. What is unusual about the RollWorks in our annual budgeting process is that there is no need to provide a business case for RollWorks' renewal. We see the value on a daily basis. RollWorks has provided clear insight up to the C level so there is no hard sell at the executive level. All stakeholders across the organization consider RollWorks to be a long-term, integral part of our marketing stack. We always are evaluating substitutes for current tech stack providers but feel that RollWorks is unmatched in its space
We're very sticky with Sendoso and would prefer to not train the entire sales org on a new platform! That and we've already sent up a plethora of gifts the team can send out (eGifts, physical branded items, treats, plants, etc.).
RollWorks has the most intuitive interface of any tool in our multi-platform marketing stack. Any user who has worked with a CRM tool will find it much easier than say a HubSpot or Salesforce to set up and launch quickly. The adoption curve for maturing capabilities and usage is very short.
I log in to the Sendoso website each time to use it, I'm not sure if there's an easier way. There may actually be a chrome extension that I'm just not using for whatever reason. I bet there is. But the website works well enough. Doesn't blow my mind, but it's all I need
We have no issues with uptime or downtime with RollWorks. The application runs consistently. I don't recall a bug or outage issue in the year that we have been users of RollWorks. The true test is complaints from our user base - there have been none at all which is unusual for our marketing stack applications.
Sendoso occasionally has downtime, but it's usually isolated to a single feature and doesn't effect the entire platform. They are responsive when it comes to intaking these outages and are quick to work to resolve them
The RollWorks interface performs well. The load time has no noticeable friction. Reports are delivered quickly and easily. We integrate RollWorks with our Hubspot and Google Analytics platforms. There were a few tweaks to get those integrations working in sync but the RollWorks account team was there to help with anything our internal technical team couldn't solve.
Their platform doesn't take a long time to load, and it typically isn't too buggy once a new feature has been out for a while. Reports are pretty quick to generate and are emailed to the user on file for use typically within ten minutes or so. I have not noticed Sendoso slowing down any of the software it integrates with at all
Our CSM has been incredible, she is proactive when it comes to making account recommendations and makes an effort to stay up to date with the company and our campaigns and initiatives. Her reporting and analysis have been transparent and helpful and she is very engaged in the account insights. Love working with her!
They listened to the problem with delivery times but did not present a reasonable solution. Again, the shipping costs consumed too much budget. On one bulk send their support team agreed to take over a project for a few of the reps which is encouraging to see.
Our in person trainings were on zoom, but they are not recordings which is why I listed them as in person. You get a live person to walk you through integrations, how to use the platform, sendings best practices, setting up other users, etc. The customer success team will help you training staff users too. Ours even ran a contest for them to encourage them to send to prospects and they provided the prize!
We implemented RollWorks during the pandemic and across geographies. Therefore in-person training was not an option. We felt that we got the full impact of an in-person training experience from the RollWorks team, and that in-person training would actually have been less effective for us due to the expense and logistics. It is rare that we consider online training to be as effective as in-person so this is a credit to the RollWorks account team.
These were CSM and Onboarding team zoom meetings where they hand-hold you, which is nice especially compared to other company onboardings. After that they have Zen desk articles and regular check-ins where you can get the training you need. I also am on a slack channel with Sendoso staff where I can ask additional questions or look for best practices.
RollWorks implementation couldn't have gone more smoothly. A key success factor is inclusion and early involvement of all those who will be working with RollWorks in any way to go through the set up and launch process. We thought through and brought the right players to the table to take full advantage of the RollWorks training direct from the team - rather than having to train others one off later
Get Sales and Marketing both involved in the implementation so you can strategize on how you'd want to use it across your organization. This will help your CSM roll it out the way you want instead of trying to piecemeal it after you've finished the onboarding process. Also I would recommend using a mix of Sendoso Direct, Inventory and eGift sends. Relying all on one or the other will not serve you well
I feel RollWorks as a platform was the easiest to use and navigate versus the others on this list given our maturing and requirements. Also, the RollWorks platform was the most cost-effective. Also, the team at RollWorks was the easiest to reach to set up a quick demo and in their follow-ups.
Sendoso Adoption: we struggled with sales adoption. They never fully bought into Sendoso campaigns. With Alyce, all sales reps are using the tool and there's accountability by each team member. They love using the tool because it's so easy. Reporting: we never had a true picture of how gifting campaigns were driving revenue against what we'd spent. Our MOPs team had to manually pull and report on ROI from gifting. With Alyce, it's automated. Overall ease-of-use: Sendoso was easy to use as a marketer, but we hated building our own landing pages in Marketo (I'm not a fan of Marketo pages). The Alyce LPs are cookie cutter, but clean, you can personalize the message, gift and the sender's profile picture and contact information are viewable. The sales team leads love creating their own campaigns, create friendly competitions between teams and get creative with the campaigns (we never saw them using Sendoso like this). Reachdesk Personalization: Reachdesk's personalization is better. You can send any gift (whiskey bottle, pickleball set, you name it) with sketched personalization in a one-off setting vs. ordering in bulk. Alyce is not quite as efficient in one-off personalizations. You still need to go through a curator. Automation: both Reachdesk and Alyce are comparable in SF, Marketo, HubSpot integrations, but Reachdesk doesn't integrate with 6sense the way Alyce does. Right now we're able to gift to ICPs at accounts that are in-market in decision or purchase stage (showing real intent). This means we experience less people taking the gift for a demo and running and gifting to those that are more likey to buy.
RollWorks had various options that allowed us to choose the right one for our current situation. We felt that RollWorks gave us the flexibility to start at a certain level within our core marketing and sales teams and then easily add users as our functions are expanding. RollWorks offers upgraded levels of plans and add on features that we can foresee using in the future.
Sendoso has really improved here. Along with helping you train your staff, you can now clone gift touches, sync them with salesforce from the platform directly, and send out address confirmations using your own or their email sending platform - they also just released an option for you to white-label your own domain. helping you save time and get a lot off the ground quickly
Tough to say the exact impact, although RollWorks tries to help you show that. They include an ROI measure tied to your pipeline. But it's not really possible to say that because 1 person at an account MAY have seen our ad that it influenced a buy. It's a little hocus pocus here.
Our target audience is not very active in LinkedIn so we need to find ways to get in front of them outside of this business channel. Our thought/hope is that RollWorks is helping us do that.
We had an increase in people visiting our booth at a conference based on receiving an item via Sendoso and bringing it with them to the show.
We have seen more leads come in from partners ever since we started sending reps at those partner companies gift packages as certain benchmarks for leads were hit.
