More suited I will say deploying your Web-server, Running some cloud applications, Deploying your micro-services, Managed database. Less suited is really hard to say but there can be some scenario where you can use free services like Google spreadsheet scripting for smaller data management and small workflows. Workflow automation is something you need multiple vendors to talk to each other at that time its preferred to go for something else.

Pros
Amazon Web Services
- What I like in it, is its simple notification service which provides a mobile messaging feature to enable push messaging to my mobile devices as well.
- It helps in sending out notifications to all my teammates with full integrity.
- Responsive Support.
- Offers a variety of features that help to manage my workload.

- Allows team members to access, add or edit files in real-time.
- Allows me to share spreadsheets and files with non-team members.
- It is very easy to use and I love that it integrates directly to the computer so I don't have to upload and download files constantly.

Cons
Amazon Web Services
- If there is one thing I think AWS needs improvement on, it is the administration dashboard. It can be a nightmare to use especially when trying to access billing. This could be made better, honestly, as there should be a simplified way to access simple admin features.
- While AWS was fairly easy to integrate into our solutions, it is not as easy to use without some IT knowledge. The dashboards are complicated and designed for someone who is computer savvy. If you are just want to keep track of billing, for example, you may need to take a course or spend a few hours with someone being walked through the admin console.
- AWS does tend to be slow at times. If you do not have a fast internet connection, it can take time to access services that are hosted on AWS. This is not always the case but we have had clients complain about this if they are trying to access a service from multiple points (IP addresses). The only real fix we found was to make our files cache to another server and only keep current data accessible to clients.

- The biggest problem that comes up is when sharing a file and you accidentally don't give the person access. It's easy to forget. I shared something yesterday and then closed my computer, not realizing I never gave anyone permission to view it. Maybe the UX could bring it to your attention rather than you have to search it out.
- Honestly, the rest is great. No notes.

We are almost entirely satisfied with the service. In order to move off it, we'd have to build for ourselves many of the services that AWS provides and the cost would be prohibitive. Although there are cost savings and security benefits to returning to the colo facility, we could never afford to do it, and we'd hate to give up the innovation and constant cycle of new features that AWS gives us.

For its compatibility, easiness, quick responses, user interface, storage capacity, files management and file listings. These are some of the reasons for giving higher ratings and Google Drive has become an integral part of my professional life. We use this software on daily basis and most of the time saving lot of time.

We find it quite easy to use. The only challenge is at the outset figuring out exactly what you need, given the large number of available services and options which could take a bit of time to get familiarised with and to decide on.

Google Drive is very easy to use, and most of the time, does not require a subscription (anyone with a Google account can use it). All of the documents are similar to ones that most people have worked with before (i.e. Sheets is similar to Excel) and the interface is pretty intuitive. Changes are saved immediately, so there's not too much of a learning curve and the version history feature allows you to go back if you've made a mistake (i.e. accidentally deleting something).

AWS does not provide the raw performance that you can get by building your own custom infrastructure. However, it is often the case that the benefits of specialized, high-performance hardware do not necessarily outweigh the significant extra cost and risk. Performance as perceived by the user is very different from raw throughput.

Google Drive syncs in backgroud and does not affect pc performance. Google drive on the web has no slow downs. I can work on my legacy Windows 10/i5 2520M / 8GB / 480Gb SSD laptop.
Google Sheets is excel level and gives complete spreadsheet features which passes excel in some areas.

Amazon Web Services boasts a really quick and helpful support with multiple communication options as well. For instance, on my personal account I incurred a minor charge due to mismanagement of a service. Upon contacting support, they quickly explained the issue to me and upon request waived the bill as a first time error.

It takes a few days for customer support to get back to you. Although, I have not had to use support too often. Once you get an email back, they are very thorough and work hard to fix the problem quickly. It is a really great resource and a great way to get the help you need if you're stuck. A phone call also works quickly but you have to call during specific times.

It's an extremely easy software to implement, once you sign up for a google account you automatically have access to google drive with a set amount of storage space. The business or Google Suite accounts have more storage space than a regular free account, but setting up and accessing google drive is very easy in both cases

Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services is well suited when we have a huge amount of data to store, process, manipulate and get meaningful information out of. It is also suitable when we need very fast data retrieval from the database. They provide a superior product at a fair price which allows us to further our goals and push the limits of what we are capable of as a team / company.

The main aspect that led us to stay with Google Drive compared to the other software is its storage capacity that is undoubtedly superior. In the same way, to be able to work from the Gmail account is another point in favor because we consider this mail service as the most complete at present.

- AWS has lowered our employee cost, because you don't have to hire Network/Server Admins to manage infrastructure.
- Increased productivity by incorporating Continuous Integration with AWS and our development life cycle.
- Increased customer confidence by being able to provide HIPAA level security in our development and production environments

- For Google Drive for corporate use, it is easy to scale up or down based on number of users joining or leaving our organisation.
- For Google Drive for personal use, it is always good to have it free; however it does not reward long term users with additional storage space like Microsoft does.
- Cost of using it for corporate use is not too expensive compared to buying on-site file servers and storage servers.
- Easy for our staff to set up and use.
