If you have an AR program across the globe and want to track all interactions you have with them, this tool is right for you. As you can imagine the tool is only as good as the data you put in, so you do have to make it part of your work day to input the data. Say a team member leaves and you have to jump in to cover for them, you are able to see all the interactions they have had with analysts

Of course. They have both CRM and Marketing modules. We use the CRM module only and it does make me believe that their app is well-suited for organisations / teams of different sizes, as the contact management and email management are the features which are most helpful for us in sending out emails whenever an AML case due date comes in.

  • The email editor is better but still a little fiddly compared to the likes of Mailchimp
  • Adding in new contacts is a little tedious process
  • Removing analysts no longer with an organisation - in transit is a little onerous

  • I only find the integration with the Google application practical, with other platforms it is a bit complex to understand.
  • The mobile version lacks many functions which are necessary to have a full port of this platform on the mobile.
  • Keep data in a public cloud, this can be a security risk. They should be able to give a tool where you can store the data privately and thus keep everything safe.

Insightly offers a great product; it's the right fit for our company at this time. We were, however, considering moving to Contactually due to their cost effective automation features. However, they lacked the project management capabilities of Insightly. As our company grows, we would love to stay with Insightly - and if they can nail the automation and add the ability to customize a little bit more, it would be the perfect solution for us. For a larger company with a more involved sales team, you might find the metrics/reporting to be a bit basic. Insightly offers great customer service even to free customers

Insightly is so easy to setup and so intuitive. Easy to generate your reports and the iPhone app is very easy to use. Wish the email was a little more tightly integrated into Gmail, but Insightly does everything you would expect a CRM to do. Great t-shirts too!

The interface is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Reports can quickly be made, including custom fields.The website response has always been quick to load and has never been unavailable when I have needed access. They listen to requests for additional or custom features, and they hold workshops frequently to assist new and experienced users.

In the instances I have had issues its been a little tricky to figure things out, some of the videos are helpful but getting email responses are not great compared to online chat and I have found that the response rates have been more than a day in some instances which is not as responsive as I would like compared to other platforms

The only missing thing at this time that would make our implementation complete would be a tighter integration with Xero allowing us to send quotes and report on quotes from Insightly!Xero has, excuse the pun, ZERO reporting on quotes sent!!!They are both very good products, however it's the little things that make good GREAT!

Prior to using ARchitect, we were using Salesforce. While we did have some customization added, it did not nearly have the robustness that ARchitect provides -- especially since it is designed for AR professionals. We've been using ARchitect for about 8 years and have never looked back. Some examples of vast improvements: 1. Analyst firms/bios. With Salesforce, we needed to maintain all analyst bios -- something that ARchitect does.2. Analyst coverage. We used to track all analyst coverage by visiting multiple analyst websites and manually pasting into spreadsheets. We now not only get a feed of coverage that can be exported into Excel, but we can also customize reports by topic.3. Reporting. Salesforce did not provide the same reporting capabilities that ARchitect provides.

Insightly

Salesforce will always be the crown jewel of CRM tools. The robust features and ability to integrate with other tools makes it difficult to challenge. But you get what you pay for and Salesforce is incredibly expensive. That's why my company likes using Insightly because of the cost impact to our business. It's not nearly as pricey and we end up using most of the features available.

(+) Being able to download my LinkedIn connections was a huge benefit. (+) I use the task function to stay on top of my follow-up activity which is another positive feature. (+) The sorting capabilities also help me pinpoint the contacts that I need to stay on top of.(-) When I add a new lead from an existing organization, I would like the organization's information to automatically populate the fields like address, website, description. I enter all that information manually. (-) My mass mailing experience has been tedious due to the email function being interrupted and crashing due to bad email addresses in some of my records. (-) Many of my leads do not have current email addresses. I wish Insightly offered a tool to help find email addresses. I spend too much time researching to find email addresses.

Insightly

  • The most important effect that Insightly has had on our company is the unified organization of information available to the entire company. If someone leaves the company, or is just out sick, all of the info for their clients and their projects is available for management to use to keep business moving. For instance, I was called away for a family emergency and forgot to reschedule an in-house demo with a client. When the client showed up, my boss (the CEO of the Company) was able to review the client file, read the notes on the product demo and the client's needs and he was able to perform the demo himself. All of the information was right there to get him up to speed on why our client was there and what they needed.
  • Efficiency is the next major positive impact that Insightly has brought. As a small, yet growing company, our employees have to be able to wear multiple hats and perform variety of functions. Insightly has brought such organization to my life that I am now able to keep much better track of all my daily tasks and in fact get so much more done in less time. My efficiency and productivity have increased dramatically.
