If your business (or your clients) use QBO using Rewind is an absolute no-brainer in my book. For a modest monthly cost (less than $10 per month per QBO file) you get cheap insurance against losing data and having to spend endless hours re-creating everything. When we use QB Desktop we back up the client QB files for the same reason. Now that things are increasingly moving to QBO we have the same option through Rewind.

Nowadays the service is really good and all requests have been replied to very quickly, and that´s important for our satisfaction. The possibility of multiple points recovery is a plus as well.

It is overall very easy to install and get working. Install the application, select the drives you want to backup or leave blank and backup all drives. It starts to run immediately. You configure all the backup retention and how often to run in the portal so once you deploy the agent it is very easy to get started. After the backup completes. The portal will perform a test boot and auto verification of the image.

Such a simple solution to use. User friendly, intuitive, processes can be completed in minutes instead of hours with restoring from tape, and requesting the return of tapes from the off site location, thus saving many hours and cost of storage. Support is pretty good. The issue is that they don't have any SLA so they get to you whenever. Though, if you hound them, they usually bump you up in the chain and get back to you. Their techs are fairly knowledgeable. Occasionally the first level support isn't the best, but once it bumps up to the next level, they are good.

Support helped us to set up SSO and MFA with our Azure AD Accounts. Once when the backup was failing, they could help us to investigate the reason and find a stale account that was preventing the backup. They are really concerned that the backup works and not only want to close the ticket like other support hotlines.

I had the miss fortune to go back to this device. Alot has changed since the first time I had used it. Now instead a full deployable network appliance, you have to download a preconfigured virtual machine that will only run on an ESXi server. What about Hyper-V? I have many clients that are Hyper-V only. I setup a test lab to get this thing up and running and it has been a nightmare to say the least. Will be looking at other options.

Reliable, Faster and Cheaper then the competition. Datto gave us a bad taste in our mouth on our very first client. We purchased their recommended hardware, setup and our initial install at a trial clients office with the engineer and one of our techs and when the time came, the engineer was unable to get their own product to work as expected. Luckily for us, we already explained to the client that this was a trial so we were not held accountable but if this was a live instance, it would of been embarrassing

We focused on simplicity, data residency, and cost. Keepit stood out as the best option across all three. We didn’t want to manage or worry about where data was stored, as with tools like Veeam, and we didn’t need the extra features that came with platforms like Rubrik. This software Barracuda Backup is easy to use and has an affordable price, however, Rewind Backups gives us automated backups, file restoration, and the incredible rewind function so we have decided to use this software for its complete features and its the one that is also easy to use and has encryption that protects the data against non-secure access.
