Botify vs. Emplifi vs. Semrush

Botify is great for large websites because the crawler can handle millions of pages and a ton of data. If your site only has a couple thousand or hundred thousand pages, there are probably cheaper tools that can be used to crawl your site and you may not need as much in-depth reporting.

This can be a bit clunky to go back and forth with as it requires multiple dashboards or consistent manual time-frame changes.

This is suited to plan for keywords in a single market, but it struggles when you need to consolidate several markets. It is well-suited to discover new keywords directly related to the ones being used currently to expand the content the company is creating to get better results.

• Would love more robust search parameters for labels. ex. search for tickets labeled 'Availability' AND 'United States' but excluding any that are only one of those labels
• Ability to break conversations into multiple tickets; so labels can be more accurate if the same person reaches out again after 3 months with a totally different question
• The social account quick view doesn't always load the follower count for people reaching out to us. it makes it slower to manager messages from high level creators

• Extra seats can be expensive, as [an] agency with multiple team members this can be frustrating
• Backlink data is not great, misses out a lot of backlinks (better off using a specialist backlink tool like Link research tools LRT)
• Tracking multiple keywords, across multiple clients can be costly

Since the main use of the Live Advisor is on the website that doesn't have e-commerce capabilities, it has been challenging to attach an specific metric to Emplifi's solutions and their usability in our websites. The Live Advisor is helping us to deliver our unique sale proposition in digital channels, which is great, but it is difficult to assign a higher mark in usability due to the limitation just explained.

The interface is a little less intuitive than it could be. The data is often available but filtering and manipulating the data can be a little difficult at times. Expanded comparisons would be helpful since most of the time seeing more than a few competitors at a time allows for a better sense of how to forecast.

We have a dedicated Customer Success manager, and that is very helpful. Anytime we have questions or need support, they are always there to answer. If thety do not know the solution, they always go around the bend to find one and provide it to us. They are always very kind.

I'm in a FB group for Semrush paid users and it amazing! They are fast to respond, take suggestions and help with questions. I have not felt alone in using this product at all. Highly recommend their support team. When I had an issue I can jump into the group and they will help get me the right person to help or even tag their programmers to look at something that is going on. Love the group!

The online training was fine but, in the end, the best way to learn any product is by actually using it.

The platform is so easy to understand that no "expensive consulting firm" is necessary to implement it!

Screaming Frog can't handle a crawl of our entire site because it is too large and would crash your computer. DeepCrawl's reports weren't as in-depth and didn't have as much functionality as Botify

We have used Sprinklr to source UGC content as well, but found the platform to be much more time intensive when searching for the desired images. Additionally, Emplifi's UGC tool has incremental tools the other platforms do not provide, including the ability to share images on digital screens within the property and put carousels on our websites.

We have used both Ahrefs and Semrush extensively at our agency and Semrush remains the tool of choice. We find that Semrush has the largest selection of tools & features to use, with the highest accuracy, and provides top-tier analysis recommendations. It's really is the ultimate all-in-one tool when comparing other performance measurement tools in the digital marketing space.
