Likelihood to Recommend If you want a full-service ATS and will use the tool to post jobs and track candidates, Brightmove is a very solid tool. They are adding functionality and making it more robust. In our case, we ended up just using it for resume repository and management and so the solution essentially outgrew us such that the price structure and options are no longer competitive or make as much sense as when we first started using the tool.
Read full review Jobvite was very useful when used to onboard our new hires. Being a Human capital management company, we hire many individuals on a weekly basis so it helps us keep all of the paperwork organized and prevent any accidents when managing all of the data. Sometimes it does pose a problem for those who are not technologically savvy.
Read full review Pros Brightmove is intuitive and easy to learn and to use. It interfaces well with social media. Brightmove has good capabilities to build interfaces to other systems, such as a background checking system. In addition, Brightmove has a good record of being available. Read full review Workflow- I love that you can immediately see where in the process a candidate is. Dashboard- The customization and overall feel of the site. Feed- The fact that you can see the feed from the candidates other applications is a plus. Read full review Cons Brightmove could offer more detailed and user friendly reports. Brightmove could add more screening questions to applicants when they are applying to a job. The feature that is already there is not really useful. Brightmove needs to separate internal applicants from external applicants. Read full review Custom fields--custom fields do not follow the candidate from hire to onboarding. This is problematic because we then have to recreate on the onboarding side to then import into our HRIS. Onboarding picklists are time-consuming to populate. We have to enter options one at a time, rather than being able to do an import. Also, field mapping on Hire is a lot easier than having to set up tags on option sets in onboarding. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Brightmove has worked well as we are a company with 120 employees. For as long as we stay around this size, we will continue with Brightmove, but as we grow we will start looking for an ATS that can directly tie into our CRM (NetSuite). The price point is great for the functionality when compared to other ATS solutions
Read full review If I were to become an internal recruiter again, I would almost definitely use Jobvite. I liked the fact that we could set up any job application link on our company web site to connect directly to Jobvite. I also liked that Jobvite made employee referral easy to submit, as employee referrals tend to be the highest quality candidates. Jobvite really has all the tools a recruiter needs to get a candidate through a recruiting process quickly without anything slipping through the cracks. Even though there are a lot of features I feel can be greatly improved, I don't think there is anything on the market today that is better than Jobvite

Read full review Support Rating The Customer Support is the best part of using this ATS vs others. They have a chat feature on the home page where you can ask a question and have a Customer Service rep help you in less than a minute. I have found that to be invaluable and a life saver on several occasions. I'm not sure you get that kind of service from a bigger ATS provider.
Read full review Support used to be better. In the last few years, though, I feel like there has been significantly less investment in customer service. We used to have account managers who were very visible and always checking in. Also, there used to be a phone number to get around-the-clock support. I am not sure that that exists at the quality it used to

Read full review Alternatives Considered Brightmove seems to be pretty similar to Vurv, but overall the functionality of the other systems I have used has been better. I didn't select to implement Brightmove, it was already in place when I joined the company.
Read full review Before implementing Jobvite, we had
iCIMS and
Kronos Workforce Ready . Neither of these products got us where we wanted to be with metrics, candidate experience, or technology. I'm sure since we left them they have updated, but we are much happier with Jobvite than others. In the process of searching for a new ATS, we attended demonstrations of 9 other applicant tracking systems and were most impressed with Jobvite.
Read full review Return on Investment Positive ROI in terms of time spent by our recruiting team. Our old ATS was clunky and forced users to spend more time on mundane tasks. Positive ROI in terms of connecting without outside job boards and finding job candidates. Positive ROI in terms of motivating our team by seeing their numbers in an easy to understand/read dashboard. Read full review Reporting - we had none before other than manually tracking things in excel documents, now we have a full suite of reports and dashboards we can customize. Interview Scheduling - With the candidate self-scheduling feature, we can now schedule interviews in a matter of seconds while also automating the candidate confirmation email and the calendar invites. More detailed source tracking than I have seen in any other product allowing full visibility on who we hire, where they came from and we can now analyze our sources. Read full review ScreenShots
