CallidusCloud LeadRocket (discontinued) vs. CleverTap

Genius is well-suited for a smaller company looking to do one-off campaigns and not necessarily needing to track within a separate system. For example, the professional version of Salesforce is probably an ideal size for Genius. For a more enterprise/larger company I wouldn't suggest Genius be used.

[In my opinion] It's [CleverTap] not appropriate for starter businesses. It's appropriate for businesses with very strong in-house tech teams to maneuver challenges on their own because after deep integration one can't expect Clevertap Support to be much helpful [from my experience]. It is good in the sense that you need one tool for all-around communications and analytics. However, they have moved away from the events container system, but those still on the events container are neither automatically educated nor transitioned into their new tiers of pricing. I find this a lack of effort of the sales team. So, you are on your own after the implementation.

• I like the simplicity of the program. Each step is laid out and self-explanatory for creating an email campaign which makes the process extremely easy.
• I like how LeadFormix provides you with different reports to look at. The information is helpful to see how well your campaign is doing with whatever the target audience it is.
• I also love that I can store a number of different email campaigns that I've done in the past to use as a template for additional projects I have.

• Helping us find out which users did a certain activity and in which order. The time gap between those activities is also an important metric. This works great with Clevertap because our backend pushes every relevant event with a time stamp to CleverTap so we do not have to maintain events or build the engine to analyze every small action the user took.
• Helps us find out which actions our best users take right before they convert. Given the e-commerce like domain we are in, we end up giving a lot of information to our users. Knowing which of these convert what kind of users is very useful.
• Helps us setup super focussed campaigns (pop-up, emails etc) to users who would be interested in a certain kind of activity. Our yield per message sent is significantly more when targeting is right.

This is the program of choice for my company. There may be more effective email marketing services out there, but I also recognize that other teams in my company (who use the website lead tracking services) are most happy with LeadFormix. Furthermore, this program is more cost effective for us than others would be.

We selected CallidusCloud (Genius) based on the level of service for the price. It was more cost effective then Silver Pop which was another tool recommended to us. On the other hand, mail chimp did not provide the level of integration needed with our CRM - Salesforce. We need to be able to connect the response to an email campaign to the individual contact (student) record and determine the success of the campaign.

Mo Engage is cost-effective, charges less price and delivery is awesome, also that is quite [a] user friendly compared to the current clever tap UI and UX.

• We have had problems with our emails landing up in spam which was hampering out marketing efforts.
