Makesbridge was easier to use and has a much better help desk. We were originally impressed with sales and then the technical side. At one point we handled e-mails with an internal program, what a headache, especially the list management.

Makesbridge had forms capability, nurture/drip campaigns and the price was much more reasonable when compared to other Salesforce-integrated systems. The capabilities were more robust and allowed for automation.

Genius is well-suited for a smaller company looking to do one-off campaigns and not necessarily needing to track within a separate system. For example, the professional version of Salesforce is probably an ideal size for Genius. For a more enterprise/larger company I wouldn't suggest Genius be used.

Well, Makesbridge provides fast response and good support from their support team. Everything in their platform is fine; just maybe need more user friendly ways to create templates or HTML. Once you click return error, you will need to redo your template again.

Pros
  • I like the simplicity of the program. Each step is laid out and self-explanatory for creating an email campaign which makes the process extremely easy.
  • I like how LeadFormix provides you with different reports to look at. The information is helpful to see how well your campaign is doing with whatever the target audience it is.
  • I also love that I can store a number of different email campaigns that I've done in the past to use as a template for additional projects I have.

  • Service: I have been so impressed by the service team. They are extremely responsive and knowledgeable!! Probably the best phone/chat tech support I have ever utilized.
  • Segmenting by targets, lists and tags. We can divide and target our contacts by who they are, how they interact with us, what URLs they visit and their activities.
  • Forms. I use their forms for subscriptions and surveys, as well as to take in information about meal and seating preferences for our events. I love that the forms can update contact records in Salesforce.
  • The system appearance. Love the graphic presentation.
  • Did I mention how good their phone/chat tech support team is?!! Fantastic (Ehsan and Mansoor are fantastic!)

  • Create and manage a detailed plan for a marketing campaign: when you create detailed project plans and then task and role levels, SAS Marketing Operations Management (SAS MOM) makes it easier to coordinate between projects with very little, if any, issues.
  • Share, reuse and leverage existing marketing assets: Like some marketing tools, SAS MOM allows you to create and reuse assets across various channels.
  • Manage project collaboration and execution: You are allowed to set up a workflow that helps move processes along without having to manage each step of the project.

Likelihood to Renew
This is the program of choice for my company. There may be more effective email marketing services out there, but I also recognize that other teams in my company (who use the website lead tracking services) are most happy with LeadFormix. Furthermore, this program is more cost effective for us than others would be.

Great product, exceptional support. I'm going to be honest and say that I was apprehensive that the Makesbridge team was actually as wonderful as the app exchange reviews claim...How often does that actually happen?! But now, I can honestly say that the glowing reviews are spot-on, and my only concern is that they do not do justice in describing the product, support and service Makesbridge provides.

We need to be able to connect the response to an email campaign to the individual contact (student) record and determine the success of the campaign.

Return on Investment
  • We have had problems with our emails landing up in spam which was hampering out marketing efforts.
  • Too many features that add very little value to business
  • You spend too much of time on the tool because the UI is very confusing

  • The list management is important to us. We need to make sure that the opt-out lists are maintained and this is done automatically for us. In addition, we can create multiple lists and each e-mail is only sent once. This has saved many headaches.
