ClearSlide

ClearSlide is quite easy to use and effective when presenting information and sharing screen. It's also easy for the prospect to access your site; they just click on a link. If an inside sales manager was looking to find out where his/her team might be losing prospects, Clearslide would be a great choice because the analytics show exactly how engaged a prospect is and at what point they start to lose interest. There is a monthly cost/annual contract involved to Clearslide, so for a startup that is very cost-conscious it might be best to investigate free conference/screenshare options, but the case could be made that the analytics will earn back the fee.

HubSpot Sales Hub

If you have a large sales team the HubSpot professional suite at $800 dollars a month is well suited, it comes with a lot of functionalities that lets you automatize tasks and keep control of your leads and progression of each deal. For a small sales team, it is a lot harder because the cost for 3-4 people goes up. They should have an overall cost but it would be good if they had an individual cost for smaller companies that includes all features.

Pros

ClearSlide

  • CS easily loads in any web browser for client-facing meetings, which is awesome. No longer having to rely on an application of plug-in loading to present slides or do a screen share makes things simple for our teams and clients.
  • CS Outlook Plugin is very handy. Being able to share links to collateral from an existing email window pane has been incredibly helpful. This feature is a serious improvement from the earlier version of CS where you could only create links to collateral via their browser site.
  • The tracking capabilities that CS has embedded with linked collateral have been helpful in our client engagement strategy as an organization. Seeing what a client has viewed and for how long helps us know what they care about. Also, if they forward or share the information, we can also track that engagement.

HubSpot Sales Hub

  • Provides a streamlined system for creating, sending, and tracking automated email campaigns to current customers as well as cold prospects. This is a huge benefit for my sales team in that we can have a one-stop-shop for prospect engagement management.
  • Playbooks in HubSpot Sales Hub has been a lifesaver by giving my sales team the step-by-step tools in order to present the best prospect discovery calls and demos. It's a simple process to follow but super effective!
  • One of the areas that Hubspot does incredibly well is they provide score rating for each and every prospect within our CRM. The score rating is based upon prospect engagement to email outreach allowing my sales team to prioritize cold/hot leads and to focus on the higher engaged prospects.
  • Another big benefit we've experienced is that HubSpot Sales Hub integrates with our CRM allowing a streamlined tech stack. This saves my sales team a lot of time managing both the CRM and HubSpot Sales Hub.

  • I don't love the conference line. The recording message at the beginning is particularly annoying.
  • I also wish it were easier to share multiple links quicker. It's somewhat of a cumbersome process.
  • It can occasionally be challenging to find the right materials to share at the moment quick enough.

  • Search feature is horrible. When you have a prospect on the phone and you type in their name or company it isn't always visible. You have to use emails, otherwise all other searches are suspect and have to double and triple checked.... tough to do when talking to a prospect.
  • Deal cards need to be MORE customizable (last update aside). There needs to be control (more) on what is presented on the card. Also, the order in which the cards are visible should be customizable. Allow the organization to sequence.
  • The ability to create "online reports" dynamically. Simply allow me to create a report on needed criteria and then publish the report in a custom URL that I can share with non-HubSpot users. This can be used to share with my vendors, dealers, partners who I would never allow in my system but I want to provide visibility

Its easy to use from a presenter's perspective. Its web based so anyone who can navigate Facebook can open a live pitch or shared file. This makes it easy to give live demos, share files, and share screens with out downloading any software or installing java patches

It's totally clean, consistent, and easy to use/understand. I love everything about this tool! From Gmail to being in the platform everything looks similar, is orange and easy to find, and very clear and user friendly. It's intuitive and hey, if my sales reps are using it it must be good and simple!

I was mostly involved in the implementation process and syncing ClearSlide with Salesforce, and I would say the support was mostly average. It took a few times to get everything scheduled, and a lot of the process was left up to me. I was reading through the documents that they supplied. It wasn't complicated, but more direct support would have been appreciated.

It was not only SUPER easy to implement, we had some amazing support from HubSpot. They scheduled a call to go over each individual tool with our team and provided guidance and best practices plus answered any questions are new users had. It was wonderful and really helped them get started confidently

ClearSlide stacks up to be as good as any of the aforementioned tools. We selected Clearslide because of its ease of use and implementation. It did not take our team too long to get acclimated with how ClearSlide works and how they would be using it, allowing them to generate more meetings and more revenue.

HubSpot Sales Hub

kvCORE is provided by our brokerage. It is great, but more techie and complicated than I like. There are 10 videos on how to use it. They say the BEST CRM you can have is the ONE YOU USE. So, HubSpot [Sales Hub] allows me to use it without having to know anything different than using my Gmail. The dashboard and all the functions are simple, look familiar, and work the way you would expect them to.
