What is ClearSlide?

ClearSlide enables sales and marketing teams to find content, communicate it whether in-person, on the phone or through email, and get insights into how customers engage, with the goal of helping sales and marketing teams make every interaction count and create amazing customer experiences.

ClearSlide is a system of engagement for sales, marketing & services teams. For managers and leaders, ClearSlide provides engagement dashboards to improve deal visibility, coaching, and stronger forecasting. For content users and creators, ClearSlide makes it easy to organize and recommend content tailored by sales stage, with next-step interaction suggestions. For reps, ClearSlide delivers content, communications, and real-time analytics in a single, unified Sales Engagement Platform experience.

Fantastic Tool if used Properly

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used ClearSlide in my org for presentations and to do mail tracking for anything that was sent to prospects or current clients. ClearSlide allowed for easy tracking and to see the effectiveness of collateral that was being sent, as well as how well emails were drafted and read by the intended audience.

Pros

  • Email Tracking - Knowing how many times an email is opened with attachements
  • Screen Share presentations
  • accountability of knowing who is using the product and how many emails they are sending out and the effectiveness of those emails.

Cons

  • Cannot tell who opens attachments, only geographic location
  • Screen Share can be laggy at times, so not preferred by people joining

Return on Investment

  • Wasn't widely adopted by all teams
  • SFDC integration was not optimal and had to do double the work of logging info in

  • Clearslide provides an easy way for us to manage content and track activity against that content.
  • Clearslide provides a web sharing feature that allows our users to quickly find and present relevant content.
  • Clearslide provides detailed analytics to provides insight into the most relevant material.

Cons

  • The live pitch and presentation features could use work. The options are limited.
  • The content layout could use an upgrade. Sometimes our users find it difficult to find specific content.

  • Clearslide has allowed our sales team to tailor their pitches to specific prospects.
  • The analytics/insights on Clearslide has been very helpful for our management team.
  • Our marketing team relies on Clearslide to determine which collateral is most effective.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ClearSlide regularly to put together presentations for clients. ClearSlide makes it easy to create presentations that can be shared with clients with a simple link creation. The ability to pull slides from other presentations and simply hide or show selected slides for a specific client saves tons of time when it comes to sending material to clients.

  • Track clicks and views of presentations
  • Create presentations

Cons

  • Edit features of slides. Once a ppt has been uploaded you are limited on what is able to be edited.
  • Google Slides integration
  • When copying a slide or presentation if enter key is pressed instead of the "Create" button it fails to create the copy.
  • Improvements to search functions.

  • Slideshow management
  • Ease of sharable content.
  • Easy access to all marketing qualified content.
  • Link tracking features.

Return on Investment

  • Time is money and ClearSlide saves time.

  • Ability to let others share their screen is not straight forward

Return on Investment

  • Positive: it allows us to track if/when a client is viewing information we've sent to them
  • Negative: when using Clearslide for a live presentation, there are tech issues (primarily with audio) more frequently than I would like
  • Positive: easy to share presentations/materials among the team

  • Stores all crucial documents in an easy to navigate fashion
  • Allows seamless upload to Salesforce for archiving

  • Customer support could be a little more robust
  • Inability to reverse screen share

  • Easier to train new hires
