Likelihood to Recommend We are very pleased with the change to [Employee Navigator] as it offers more what we needed. It's very customizable and has many features that can be added or taken away depending on business needs. I'd only say it would be less appropriate for a business quite smaller than ours who needed very little in comparison.
Read full review Netchex is great if you want to log in to one place to take care of all things employee-related. It is especially helpful if you have multiple locations or divisions as you can easily set these up and manage them as needed. The more employees you have, the more you will benefit from a program like Netchex that provides so much support for your business. Our company has multiple locations of stores and many employee position levels and Netchex has been great at keeping all of this simple when a lessor product could make it much more complicated. Netchex would not be as appropriate if you have a very small business or a simple payroll structure. It would definitely still work well for you, it would just be more sophisticated than you would require.
Read full review Pros Time off requests. These are easy to perform and track as an employee and user. Time off approvals. Couldn't be easier. Time of approvals or denials are sent via email and are one-click tasks. Also can be performed in the web UI, but it's so easy. Manager reporting. Managers can easily see reports on employee time off and make decisions based on that. Read full review My Netchex Service Team is very responsive and friendly. They are willing and able to spend the amount of time needed on one call to troubleshoot most problems or answer questions. Their recent updates to the employee dashboard have been well-received by our seasonal team. Employees are able to quickly find what they are looking for which has minimized the amount of requests that my team receives regarding questions on pay or updating personal information. Online W-2 forms have been a game-changer for us since moving to Netchex. Our staff tend to move around a lot and most do not get the mailed copy of their W-2. The electronic consent has saved me hours and hours of time. Read full review Cons It is a great stand alone product. We would like it to tie into a more robust HR solution and communicate with payroll. Initially there are a lot of features that are turned off, I like to know what a program is capable of so I can be more strategic in implementing a solution. Having a broker in the middle is both good and bad. ALSO SPEAKING TO SOMEONE IS ALWAYS A POSITIVE NOT REALLY ANYTHING ELSE BUT HAVE BEEN USING THEM 3 MONTHS SO NOT LONG INTO IT.....VERY EASY SYSTEM AND LOVE I CAN DO A NEGATIVE INSTEAD OF HAVING TO CALL AND ASK THEM TO DO IT ON THEIR END. Read full review Usability Very user friendly and great interface.
Read full review Support Rating So far, we have had very little reason to call in to Employee Navigator support. Our team who works with them have found it easy and simple to work with them when needed. They aren't able to work on much or divulge how the system works internally, nor what's on the roadmap, but it is still helpful to have timely confirmation.
Read full review The first line CE team is phenomenal. They are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We have had less luck with the responsiveness of the tax department. However, their response time has improved drastically over the past year.
Read full review Implementation Rating Implementation took some time but was pretty much error free.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Most of the systems I've used for HRIS systems have been part of the payroll system. What stands out with Employee Navigator is the ability to key your benefit changes into one place, and all vendors are notified of the updates -- no more logging on to three or more sites to make an address change to an employee.
Read full review I like that they are not so big that they ignore the small customers. They are also reasonably priced. Their support is excellent, I had worked with ADP in a prior position, and we did not have the same kind of support
Read full review Return on Investment We spent about half the time on open enrollment than we did in the last two years. Employee Navigator was much easier for staff to navigate and be able to complete their open enrollment independently We've saved several thousand dollars in setup fees to link with insurance carriers since moving to Employee Navigator Read full review Associates can easily access their data and make changes to things like their address and direct deposit, saving manager time to focus on more critical tasks within the organization NetRecruitier has one site that can be posted to multiple job boards with one applicant tracking system Electronic Onboarding allows us to get information out to the new employee so we can start with expectations on their first day and they know what to expect.
