Any company who needs more monitoring and has frequent contract language changes due to negotiations with parties can utilize the Emptoris Contracts software to a greater extent. Key Business Questions that are answered on Emptoris:

  • Multiple language support
  • Maintenance of the contracts during the life cycle.
  • Bringing Legacy contracts into new system and its maintenance.
  • Monitoring the contract and important remainders based on contract.
  • Complex contract approval process due to the business complexity.

I don't have much to compare Lytho Workflow workflow to, but I'd say it gets the job done for my small department. I can't imagine a world where we didn't have it. There are times when the software does not work as expected though. For example, if one of the marketing managers archives a request after it has been accepted, it will disappear from the request queue but remain as a job in my job queue. From there, I have to archive it again. The same goes for comments - if someone makes a comment on the request, it does not appear on the job, nor am I notified. I have to click through to the request, from the job to see those comments.

SAP Business Network excels in scenarios involving complex supply chains, where collaboration is essential for visibility. Its coordination capability makes it very easy to manage multiple suppliers and makes the operation very smooth, even when dealing with complex workflows.   • The only thing I would like to see is that is can hold mutiple attachments under the language tab.
  • I would like to see a function that allows all credentialing materials to be attached to Emptoris and sent to the next step as one complete package.

  • Crashes - The workflow web page crashes very frequently and I've never been able to figure out what the cause is. Refreshing the page always fixes this issue.
  • Proof Approvals - I wish there was a way to remove all people from the route that have approved and resend to those who haven't. Reviewers who have already approved often do not want to see future proof revisions coming through their inbox. It would be nice to have this as an option, rather than having to create a new revision and manually removing all that have approved before sending.
  • A more personalized dashboard - My dashboard is more geared towards someone who is requesting or reviewing jobs, rather than someone who is completing them. As a result, I rarely use this page.

Likelihood to Renew
There are a lot of new, exciting products coming out in every field and I believe that there is always something better right over the horizon. If it was my choice, I would review my usage of Emptoris and other software periodically to make sure I'm using the most efficient software possible.

I will give it a 9, one is deducted for business inspection and improvement i feel that they are in the right direction and streamlined our flow of business agility also helped us get the R.o.i and helped with more sales and visibility over business and its metrics.

There is still a ton of flexability on the customer's end of the platform, which makes standard onboarding for suppliers a challenge. Customers are allowed to ask for things, or customize certain things that are not standard for us, so we have to have special rules set up to complete an integration. There are also some limitations to automate invoice rejections that happen on the platform when a customer rejects an invoice
