Likelihood to Recommend Google Surveys is perfect when trying to collaborate with co-workers and find a date & time that works best for them to get together, whether it's for a regular meeting, team photo session, celebratory dinner, or Christmas celebration. It's also great for getting feedback on proposed changes that would affect the team.
Read full review QuestionPro is great for forced-choice and Likert-scale data, and it easily turns raw data into readable statistics. The simple interface lacks attractiveness but is easy to learn and use, even for members outside the digital age. QuestionPro is less effective for qualitative data and short answer responses in large quantities. Reporting and analytic features leave this information in the bulky design, clogging the report and preventing cohesive presentation of the data.
Read full review Pros Measure the pulse of how our members are feeling (yes/no questions, multiple-choice questions). Learn how students are doing with specific projects (textual-based questions, essay-type answers). Run an election for board members (use of the "other" notation so that people can write in their own choices). Read full review Before choosing QuestionPro, we evaluated it and Qualtrics, SurveyGizmo, and SurveyMonkey. A committee tested each of 141 key features on all four products. QuestionPro did well in the comparison and we have ended up using even more features that we tested. The summary of that work can be found here: https://oit.utk.edu/research/documentation/qualtrics-to-questionpro/. The way it handles anonymous surveys is particularly good. With most products, you have to remember to check the "anonymous" box to prevent it from saving email addresses or other identifiable data. But if you forget to do so, you can't tell by taking the survey. Question pro uses "Respondent Anonymity Assurance" that must be turned on by the company (a quick request from the chat window will suffice) and then it can never be turned off. This activates a link that appears on the bottom left-hand of each survey page. Clicking it takes the survey participant to a company page which assures them that the anonymous feature is indeed turned on. It has a very nice combination of great power and ease of use. The support we have received from the company has been excellent. Our team has worked with around 30 research software vendors for over 35 years and this company stands out as being extremely responsive to our needs. We told them we needed a migration tool to help us move from Qualtrics to QuestionPro and they created one in just a few weeks. They've added or improved a number of other features for us, at no charge. Read full review Cons While it is very intuitive, there are many ways you can fine-tune your survey (such as word limits, counts, etc) and these are not always obvious where those settings are. I would like to see some ways of changing the formatting (and maybe I just haven't explored that yet), ie: colors, set up on the screen. Read full review Doesn't allow for the level of customization required for a lot of projects Can be a little too simple, not complex enough Can tend to be a little buggy at times -- new features need to be more thoroughly vetted Read full review Likelihood to Renew We are currently reviewing the cost of the license as we are interested in extending the license for the campus, questionpro is not an "inexpensive" option for a publicly funded non-profit Institute.
Read full review Usability Relatively simple so that those who are less than familiar with computers can figure it out. User friendly and already embedded with other Google products. Receives an 8 because many features available with Google Surveys are also available with similar, free products on the internet today. Good, but not stellar.

Read full review Support Rating This is by far the only area where I think that there is room for improvement because Google does not respond as fast as I would like them to. We live in a fast-paced world and this is probably the only area where Google can improve on and as a teacher, I find it challenging to wait for a day or two for a response when everything that I am doing in the Google Classroom is running instantly and with no breaks in between.
Read full review They offer email, chat, and phone support. I have used the chat support several times. Response time was fast, but the rep did not always have the answer. Inquiries are answered quickly and thoroughly.

Read full review Alternatives Considered I selected Google Surveys to create them because it was free and helped to improve our overall information and data. It was easy to build it into our systems and get the data. Other survey providers have offered a larger variety of options, which have helped even more - but the higher costs were not worth the extra money.

Read full review First of all, QuestionPro has powerful futures when we compare it with others. I am not sure but somehow interface of the product is always important for some more than its functionality. QuestionPro has many features, functionality and has a great interface. It is easy to use and a software that is easy to understand.
Read full review Return on Investment Team members are more apt to respond quickly to a Google Survey request rather than a normal email - makes my job as an admin easier. Easy to check on who hasn't responded - that way I only have to one-on-one follow up with select individuals instead of everyone. You can customize the survey to your team's specific brand, which is especially handy if sent to those outside of our work sphere. Read full review QuestionPro has gathered feedback used to shape future policy, increasing customer (student) satisfaction. QuestionPro gathered data useful for communication across departments that often struggle to understand one another. For example, the survey gathered data that enabled IT to pinpoint specific WiFi problems across campus. QuestionPro helps evaluate student staff performance and identify places for growth, enhancing our team’s ability to serve ever-changing students. Read full review ScreenShots
