    Social Mention
Social Mention is a great tool for monitoring social media. This Tool can also be used to search specifically taking the keywords in the blogs, comments, news etc. It offers a third party API for users. It can be used to send email to clients of their brand performance data. This tool can indicate if your mentions are angry, happy or neutral but the data can't be reliable.

I might want to find in Tagger a similar report where they show
the after-effects of a few or other influencers when the relegated errands are
done, this could help us in further developing dynamically for our publicizing
efforts doubtlessly getting a considerably more exact outcome.

    • Under the "Free" dashboard you are limited to only receiving weekly results.
    • Can't negate those tags which contain my tags.
    • Lots of tweets missing, no noise filtering. Sometimes we get very old contents which are not needed.

    • Although it relates very well with most social networks we wish they could soon include TikTok in the tool, one of the fastest growing in recent times and where we could find many more influencers with different skills that fit the needs of our consumers.
    • I would like to see in Tagger Media a comparative report where they show the results of some or other influencers when the assigned tasks are finished, this could help us in improving decision making for our advertising campaigns surely getting a much more accurate result.
    • It would be interesting to see the information of the tasks of the influencers we hire in real time, i.e., if we contact 5 influencers, we could see a real-time flowchart with the current status of their tasks and thus be able to keep a better relationship of time and performance in our projects.

Our initial contract with Wildfire Whitelabel was for $30,000/year, as we progressed we found several alternatives for significantly less. We used this to our advantage to lower the second year to $17,000 with the limitation in the level of support (they call this their "core" subscription). Support has been quite bad.

During our contract, we also asked for quotes on some custom work, but never managed to get an answer (or actual quote). Now two years into our contract, the limitations and lack of development are enough for us to find a different solution. Newcomers to the market like Rafflecopter, WooBox and PunchTab are delivering much better results for a fraction of the price

I love that Social Mention is so easy to use. It does not take a long time to learn how to navigate the site when you need information quickly. I don't use it as much in my new job, but I recommend it for basic monitoring and when you need social media information right away

It doesn't work as well since we changed our name. We used to have a very unique twitter handle etc. so it was easier for social mention to find us. For folks who have unique names it's excellent if you don't it may not be that helpful.

Wildfire was a merely an adequate social media tool when it existed as a standalone, but it just couldn't compete against other players like Sprout, Falcon, and Sprinklr.

Social Mention streamed everything together, calculated my sentiment for me, allows me to filter what results I am personally looking for, extract my RSS feed and navigate to one of the channels of buzz.

Out of the other influencer management/SaaS platforms I've used, Tagger is my favorite. I trust the numbers I see and use within Tagger, whereas other platforms I'm a bit more cautious of that are scraping data. I also have to say that Tagger's customer support is fantastic, my representative is always friendly, patient, and responsive, providing thorough answers to any question we send her way. Additionally, there is a live chat feature within the platform that is also easy to use and someone always responds fairly quickly, whereas other services I've used have taken days to get a response to a simple question.

    • The paid-version actually had a negative ROI for us as it would sometimes feed us topically inappropriate articles and didn't allow us to filter by source so as to eliminate inappropriate blogs and inappropriate news sources (like highly politically partisan ones).
