Likelihood to Recommend Well suited for searching the database for qualified resources, not well suited for those posting jobs. That is especially true if the job posted has a broader appeal, or applies to many job seekers, since it will attract hundreds that you will not have time to review. We have found that 1 in 20 are even qualified and have the basic requirements for what we post

Since it allows you to tag candidates based on their level of talent or potential utility to the company, it is best used to identify the best prospects in large operations, such as multi-franchise oriented businesses that cover all kinds of sales. It can be used to make periodic assessments of the level of employee growth in certain departments, and based on the results let us know if certain employees would do better working in another type of area, so that the overall work operations are more uniform. JazzHR could excel in departments that use a high level of reporting, as its administrative tools provide high content reports with statistics on the performance of each employee or candidate at different levels.
Read full review Pros The best free job advertising platform out there that is easy to use and integrates with our ATS Greenhouse ATS (Greenhouse) automatically posts every job to Indeed and requires zero effort Formatting of the the jobs from my ATS look good when "pulled" over to Indeed Able to integrate questions with rules that allow you to shortlist candidates in a more timely fashion Sponsoring portal has change a couple times. I do not love the new format as of 5/2021 but it is not bad. They allow you to use a credit card for sponsoring which linkedin will not Sponsoring criteria is good and has many options Read full review employ Inc (Jobvite, JazzHR & NXTThing)

Read full review Cons Indeed.com tends to have a lot of fake listings or listings which overstate a role and that drives some users away from using the service. Indeed.com's aesthetics are a bit dated so although the web sites functions are mature they also are a bit bland....if that matters to someone. They seem to try and push the sponsor (cost to you) job lists a bit strong. Read full review employ Inc (Jobvite, JazzHR & NXTThing)
The integration of the other systems such as Payroll, HR systems and operations are not easy to set and not all systems are compatible. Should improve compatibility with Microsoft Teams Some processes require more steps and become more tedious than in other solutions Read full review Likelihood to Renew employ Inc (Jobvite, JazzHR & NXTThing)
It worked well for the majority of our needs and is still in use even though I've left the company. The Resumator was an interim solution until we found a system that integrated with all our other internal systems. However, we ended up staying with it because of ease of use
Read full review Usability The average person would be able to login into Indeed and use it almost immediately with no training or guidance. The layout is modern like an iPhone app and one can easily navigate through the features that it offers.

It's not a 10 due to the eTemplates. If those were less time-consuming to set up and if some common forms were available to select from already set up, then I would give it a 10.
Read full review Support Rating I haven't had to use Customer Service much for Indeed.com but the few times I've had encounters they have been very nice and helpful. They ensure you are getting the most out of your money with the resources Indeed has to offer. You can speak to customer service over the phone or on a quick messenger setting on the website depending on what your style is or how easy you feel your question is.

Each person I've spoken to have been helpful, positive and encouraging. Once you begin using JazzHR, they have intervals in which they reach out to you to see how you're doing or if you have any questions. When you're setting up, they review what you've done and offer praise as well as suggestions on how to make it work better for you. They offer webinars and online training videos to walk you through every process.

A solutions consultant walked me through each step. It was easy. As I progressed in setting things up, their support contacted me to set a time to walk through any possible issues and make suggestions on a better way to set it up. At any time, if I had a question, they were available and there are also training documents and videos available.
Read full review Alternatives Considered We used and are still currently using other job boards. Some are free of charge, some are paid services. We do not want to stop using Indeed.com since it provides up with ability to post job postings for free. This is really appreciated. We do not want to disclose names of other services.

Both
Greenhouse and
Lever at least seemed to have great products and great teams; they simply weren't worth 2-5X the cost for us. Now, let's be clear - a platform that helps you hire the best people is a certainly worth 2-5X (or perhaps 10X) the cost. However, for most small and medium businesses, the three platforms are very similar. Once you have ~100s of different positions or ~100,000 applicants, then a more advanced ATS could be worth the cost. For us, Jazz is excellent. We have about 8 types of roles and 250 employees, and we see the Jazz system working very well for us even as we grow to 1,000+ employees.
Read full review Return on Investment Higher turnover in general for the positions we have hired for from Indeed which in some instances can hinder productivity. It is important to know that when using Indeed, you are getting volume/quantity and not necessarily top-performing employees. It seems like the employees found on Indeed are constantly job hunting even when currently employed. For our large-scale hiring, Indeed, all in all has had a positive impact as we are always able to fill the positions due to the large pool of resumes always on hand. This cuts down immensely on staff time needed in the total recruiting process. Has probably saved at least 1/2 person. Trees are being saved since we don't have to print as much! :) Consistency is so important in the HR field. Jazz HR makes this easy. Read full review ScreenShots
