Inspectlet vs. Mouseflow vs. ObservePoint

Small organization with limited resource can really make use of [Inspectlet]. Its really user friendly and don't need much expertise or training to use and you can have the entire department using it the very next day its implemented. But if its a large company, you might be better off with other session replay tools.

Mouseflow is a great when you're working in a busy product development or conversion optimisation environment, and want to understand exactly how customers are interacting with your site or app so you can respond. It's a capable tool that offers some great insight at a fraction of the cost of competitors like SessionCam or ClickTale. It has occasional problems in captures that its competitors suffer from less often, but if you're looking for a general understanding of usage then this is a great tool. It doesn't have built-in integrations with all A/B testing tools, but it does have a built-in Google Tag Manager tag so its very easy to set up without assistance. If you've got the budget to select reliability over cost, then you may choose to opt for a more mature, enterprise offering. But if your budget is limited, or you're just looking to prove the value of session recording as a concept, then Mouseflow will more than do the job.

ObservePoint is a great tool for automating page testing and standardizing campaigns to observe accurate customer insights. You can identify customer mapping journey. They also help in data protection and insights which are very important and essential these days. They should work more on easy interface designs. Overall, it is the best.

• Inspectlet does analysis of sessions really well. We were able to view our funnel and view sessions that completed and dropped-off at various points. Setting up the funnel and doing the analysis was very easy.
• I thought Inspectlet was very easy to integrate. During the integration, I was able to send metadata that allowed for increased flexibility during analysis. I loved that Inspectlet integrated with Segment.io.
• I thought the tool's pricing was positioned well for the features it offered.

• Mouseflow does a great job creating wonderful Heat Maps. These allow you to really see how people are interacting with a page. Great data if you want to create better flow in your pages.
• The User Session Recordings are also especially useful and when used in conjunction with the heat maps you can really get a feel and a look at how a page is working. This lets you see where people get stuck, elements that might be distracting, etc.
• In the area of the heat maps Mouseflow can handle A/B testing which I think is priceless.
• Another advantage to Mouseflow is that unlike many of these types of tools Mouseflow integrates with most Web platforms, well beyond WordPress.

• The UI for ObservePoint is intuitive and robust. This makes training new engineers and using the product easy and productive.
• All Audit exports are formatted as tab delimited text files making the data easy to analyze and manipulate in a Spreadsheet or database.
• The list of tag vendors that are discoverable is comprehensive making it easy to interrogate most any tagging implementation.
• Standard reporting within the UI is robust and easy to consume.

• Be more consistent on recording the sessions
• Create an approved chrome extension that can be used to link session replay ids we gather in our Analytics tool like Adobe to the actual Inspectlet tool
• Lots of times main dashboard doesn't load. Make the tool more bug free.

• Page details, although interesting, are not very useful as the data is too granular and not possible to integrate with other analytics data for insights.

ObservePoint has a robust solution that is well supported and is continually innovating to meet new business and technology needs.

Mouseflow is pretty easy to use. You need to be a core technical person to implement it on your site. Mouseflow provided us a tracking code that need to be installed on the website, and if do not have the knowledge of how to work on the backend of the website, you will not be able to install it. Here you will need the help of a technical person who has a good knowledge of your website platform to install the code on the website. There are also videos available giving insight on how to use the Mouseflow platform. I personally haven't faced any problem while using Mouseflow. Just login to this tool and a dashboard will open in front of you.

It's easy to navigate and learn. The reporting and output are intuitive and robust features for finding and identifying actionable insight.

I've only experienced one system availability issue in the 3 years we've been using it.

Sometimes it can get a bit slow when auditing particularly huge sites but recent upgrades in infrastructure have done a lot to mitigate this behavior.

This is an area where Mouseflow is quite strong. Not only is the support good but they also have some very good training on the use of the product. There is a nicely laid out section of videos that not only cover the use of the tools functions but also how to use the data that Mouseflow produces. They are doing well in the support area.

Start with small audits until you have determined what you might want to filter out.

I tried out several session recording tools. The things that really stood out to me about Inspectlet were the interface and integration. Inspectlet was easiest for me to integrate and start sending custom metadata. I also liked that you could set up Inspectlet to capture every session automatically. Finally, I really enjoyed Inspectlet's funnel reporting feature. It sped up useful analysis tremendously because most of the sessions we were interested in corresponded to funnel interaction.

Mouseflow is a supplement to Google Analytics and improves on some Analytics functions. Mouseflow adds qualitative data to the quantitative data that Analytics provides to help marketers better understand their website visitors

I have not used any other product other than ObservePoint for my requirements. there are a number of features for which it has proved helpful. Technology Governance ensures our data collection tools and processes are executing as planned, so our organization can make better decisions based on better data and so on

• There is no dollar figure to put as an ROI but the value this tool provides is much much more than the investment.

• MouseFlow makes a positive impact on our future marketing decisions. We recently had a change in formula for a product and added a variety of ways for people to read about the changes via our website. Mouseflow allowed us to see which method was effective in communicating our message. We were able to replicate the style on other digital platforms.
• Mouseflow allows us to save time we would normally spend in developing a website. For example, before building a new website I will spend a couple of weeks analyzing user data via mouseflow. I can clearly see what features are not currently working and where we are loosing people in the current process. This cuts down website revisions by about 10%
