[KeePass] works extremely well for personal work passwords and personal-use passwords for home. It allows users to remember 1 single complex password in order to gain access to the entire database of passwords. It doesn't work so well if you want to sync passwords to multiple devices such as your computer or phone. It can be done, but it's not simple.

As I have many profiles and use many Email addresses for work, I need to keep them secure, so ZoHo is the best tool for me, where I can easily access my IDs and passwords and share them with my teammates. Before 3-4 months, I forgot my Master Password. At that time, I faced some issues with the login, but no worries, as it's my fault, but we can say that Zoho provides good security.

Cons
Open Source
  • The user-friendliness could be better. The interface looks outdated and is sometimes quite technical.
  • If you're on the road a lot, KeePass isn't very user-friendly on a smartphone or tablet. It's fine to use on a laptop, though.
  • Sharing passwords with colleagues who are temporarily unable to log into KeePass independently could be improved.

  • They recently changed the look/feel as an upgraded experience, but my team prefers the old look.
  • The ability to share "chambers" (organized buckets of logins) should be a feature. Right now, we can create chambers, but not share them with other users. So everyone has to create their own chambers.
  • I would appreciate the ability to have automated reminders from the system to update passwords or to change after a designated amount of time.

My very good experience in the past 15 years of usage of KeePass makes it easy to decide for a renewal of this friendship. I was never disappointed and KeePass always meets my expectations. The software runs stable and if there should be a software error, it will be fixed in no time. This is customer satisfaction.

Zoho
This rating is given based on: Ease in Importing and accessing passwords and credentials. It is more reliable whether it is browser or mobile. Autofill feature in Zoho Vault is quite helpful. Also provides two factor authentication with the feature of storing master password. We get an option to login to Zoho Vault via Authenticator or master password whichever is easy and convenient.

Support Rating

I have almost never had to contact support. This product has a wide community, a very expansive documentation/forum site where generally any question/issue already has an answer/fix or explanation/workaround, or plans for improvement in a future version. On the occasions that I have reached out, answers were fairly quick, useful, and respectful.

Never really needed to use the customer support of Zoho Vault, but all other Zoho services have excellent support and excellent forums to participate in, and I don't assume Zoho Vault would have anything less

KeePass is free and compatible with all the devices you or your customers and it has a lot of different uses. Is not only a password manager like Norton safe password or the avast's one. Like the password managers of the browsers, no, with KeePass every customer can find a useful way to share and keep secure I formations

IT Glue combined all our needs as an MSP. Vault was great until we got out of using Zoho Help Desk. We were able to monitor server information and client documentation better with IT Glue. Vault is easy to use, but in the end wasn't what we needed. Vault is a great program, but if you're looking to have a much more detailed password documentation system then I'd suggest looking for something similar to IT Glue where everything is combined together. Vault is great for passwords and passwords only.
