Kintone is great if you want a software that will help you in managing your data, and keep track of which tasks are assigned to whom. It also helps to streamline communication and information in one central place. However, it is not for you if you are looking for something complex that has to manage a lot of data.

MS Sharepoint is specifically useful when you have to collaborate with multiple teams. All teams know what exactly is happening and if they need help they can get it without asking you to share the link every time. This really [transfers] the burden from my shoulders to the participants. As participants can access all resources on demand. For a small team[,] it might feel [like] firing a cannon to kill a mosquito. They can avoid Sharepoint and use [a] planner. If you are the one like me who was excited to see different templates, you will be sad to see there are not many and most of them [look the same].
Read full review Pros Flexibility. You can build apps (without coding) to serve a wide range of processes and projects. Ease of use. The interface is intuitive. Training. There are resources readily available to train new users. Even starting from scratch, I felt like I was up to speed in just a few hours. Read full review Microsoft SharePoint integrates well with Office 365. So long as the content is organized and users know what they are looking for, it can store a wealth of information. It's simple for administrators to add and remove users. It is possible to restrict access to specific pages of a website to particular individuals or groups. As long as the document structure is simple and keeps track of authors and last edited dates, it is simple to store documents in Microsoft's simple document structure. Read full review Cons I feel that Kintone is not well enough known yet. This means that other apps/APIs are not necessarily easy to connect with Kintone. Yes, you can use Zapier though for interfacing with other apps. It would be great if it could give more customized options to change the look and format of certain things. You can make price quote apps, for example, but have to rely on 3rd party apps or programming skills to customize the look and fields. If you make a table as an input field, it cannot connect to other internal Kintone apps for lookups and such. I think there is more potential to make more customized data graphs. Read full review It does take some work to get your setup to be as graphical as modern design tends to be. Overlapping calendars are great but they do take some time investment to create. Depending on how many project or teams you work with it can get a little overwhelming to have so many different groupings. Read full review Likelihood to Renew
I still think that there's a room for Kintone's future, and high expectations for them in additional features and innovative tools and supports. Truly hope that they will support email features, and standardized supports for various plug-ins with the 3rd party software and apps. In the meantime, we will have to consider our ways of doing our work in all aspects

It's integral to our business. It's already included with most of the Office 365 licensing we buy, so the cost is effectively zero. It stores our files, it is the foundation for custom applications, and Microsoft only continues to enhance its functionality and its connections to other Microsoft tools. SharePoint just keeps getting better and better.

Kintone is agile app and most of the time we can easily come up with new apps. However, there should be more feature-based drag and drop and or a visual-based usability, as we all want to minimize the number of clicks and dropdown menu selections as much as possible. Thanks.

No usability issues reported. Individual teams also have allocated areas which replace legacy shared drives on local LANs. Access to Sharepoint resources is fully integrated with corporate Active Directory with additional two-factor authentication required for administrative users. Users have access to Microsoft Services Hub which allows you to create, manage, and track support requests while staying current on Microsoft technologies with access to select self-paced learning paths

I have had very specific questions about different aspects of the software, and I have always been able to get a hold of someone who could help. If my sales rep didn’t know the answer, he would get me in touch with someone who did know the answer. The whole team is very ready to help. It definitely feels like they view my success as their success, which is so important with this type of software.

The face to face training I received was on SharePoint Administration. It was rushed as there was a lot of information to cover and the application of the labs weren't that great either. I like to be able to relate what I am learning to what I am currently doing.

I like to learn at my own pace and online training allows for that. Additionally, you can skip through pieces of content that you already know or are already comfortable with. Microsoft actually offers great videos on their website for basic fundamental SharePoint Training. I have used these training videos in some of my own training sessions with end users.

Everyone has their own tastes of things and way they want to work. Asking them to adapt to the changes with the new tools or apps is always difficult. We would want to start with a very small but best example within the organization, which in our case was that the employees will not be bothered by the bosses by being asked to find the documents, status of the progresses, or major things/requests/projects.

Planning to the last detail would be advised. SharePoint is a very large application that takes a lot of finesse to get operational

Kintone is the easiest product to create from and the cost is the lowest I believe. In addition, reconfigurability and extendability are great. If you look for a low code tool, you can try Kintone. But as same as another low code tool, don't expect too much.
