Likelihood to Recommend The KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is well designed training module that covers all the areas that a security awareness training should have. This training has a lot of animated videos that help users to understand the material and with the quizzes in the videos makes mandatory for viewers to take it seriously, so no one can skip the videos or just sit and ignore the video. They have to be fully focused when doing the training to make the concepts clear do that they can pass the quizzes. So, it is well suited in this scenario and no one can pass the training without passing the quizzes. The KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has a lot of good things but its security games are not up to the mark as per KnowBe4's standard. Most of the users do not like the games available in the Knowbe4 ModStore. So, in the game area, they need to improve.
Read full review Before Trend Micro OfficeScan we used Symantec Endpoint Protection and although it was very easy to deploy and to update agents it couldn't find a virus if you pointed it out with a neon sign. We were always getting hit with different viruses but since we migrated to Trend we no longer have that problem. Trend has definitely been preventing those kind of outbreaks successfully.

These videos help users to understand the training content properly without and extra guidance. Launching training for a big set of users or a small set of users, both are very easy. We just need to make a training campaign, add your video, select the time, notification type, and date, and add the user or group from the same page without any extra manual work. Adding your organization's user in KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is not a difficult process, we just need to sync our active directory with the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training with the help of a connector application and the process is very easy. KnowBe4 support team will help you with this. The KB articles and support team of KnowBe4 is really good. We can find detailed Kb articles on almost every topic related to the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training and if we still face the issue, we can take help from the support team, they are really helpful. Read full review The product has two important aspects, centralized console and an agent which is typically installed on every machine. When the product is installed on a dedicated server then all computers can readily get updated while in the same network (provided the agent is installed on every machine). This helps the machine to avoid any kind of virus attacks. Even if the machines are not in the same network where the console is being run it can directly get all updates from the Trend Micro server directly and the machine is still protected. Hence, it is not necessary that users have to visit the office or internal network to get the update, once the agent is installed on the machine then they can get the update from anywhere as long as the machine has access to the Internet. Once the agent is installed on the machine the users can themselves do a full scan and even check the logs themselves. I do not see any benefits to PhishRip over most other market solutions and am discouraged by how much focus is being placed on it by KnowBe4. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Between the ease of use, cost effectiveness, functionality and continued improvements Knowbe4 continues to make it would be pretty hard to find another competitive product that wraps it all up like KnowBe4 has. Not saying it couldn't happen, but haven't seen anything that competes at this point.
Read full review It is very easy to stick with a vendor year after year, and it is also easy to see the faults in a product and want to change. This is the first time I have renewed with an antiviurs provider as others have been less than ideal and caused issues where there were none before, so while it isn't perfect, it is the best of the bunch currently and I am hopeful that it will continue to improve in future versions.
Read full review Usability KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is simple to use, simple to administer, effective, with quality content. It is easy to take the training and we have the reminders set so that the longer a user puts the training off, the more frequently they will receive reminder emails. Eventually they get emailed every day until they take the training. But with a simple click, they can get into the training content.

Read full review Performance Pages load quickly, filter/sort quickly, and don't slow down or freeze. Everything is smooth and very easy to use. There are a places in the UI where you can forget how to get there, but other than that everything is great. We have had no issues using any part of the website.

I did have to ask for a new customer success rep, needed a more experienced person to match my 12 years of experience running Cybersec training programs. Would suggest that more matching of rep level of knowledge to client level knowledge would help.
Read full review It has been difficult at sometimes, the support people at one point told me that they couldn't tell me information about OfficeScan because it was knowledge that was passed down from engineer to engineer. The issue was that if you used the msi for the install any further installs would require the msi to have the same exact name or else the install fails and corrupts the install. This information is not listed anywhere on trends website. Support kept trying to get me to use the exe for installs instead, but we use
SCCM and msi's work better. We had to write a script to come up with a solution so that we could uninstall the software and install the new software. Trend did provide the technical expertise to help with the script and had us work with one of the developers in order to resolve that issue. So they did fix their screw up but it took a while and several complaints.

Read full review Implementation Rating The implementation went really well and KnowBe4 was there the whole time on setup to make sure things were setup correctly. The only thing we had to figure out on our own was to script users automatically being added to security groups. So that when they sync to knowBe4 from AD they are placed into the same/correct groups.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Knowbe4 overall has more functionality than the competition. The other items out there simply send some emails and monitor, but not to the extend this application does. That and the level of customer service you get, is FAR above the industry standard in this area. I've never once had an issue with anything that couldn't be solved by support.

Read full review Scalability The product scales greatly. As long as you upgrade the license to support the number of users you are needing, adding in those new users is easy. Also getting those users set up with trainings/campaigns is very easy as well
