Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness to make phishing attack simulations and to deploy training to all our users that have internet access. We use the provided reports to document the achieved improvements on the current status. We also intend to use the reports to cover the relevant need for documentation on our upcoming ISO 27001 certification.

Cons
- The provided templates for phishing simulations are mainly available in English. There are also some templates available in our native language, but their number is small. We have seen other platforms offer way more phishing simulation templates in our language.
- Although there is a really huge number of training videos available, some of them are outdated and no longer have much to offer. Some cleaning up could help in this direction.
- Although there a some games / puzzle like trainings available, we have seen other platforms offer more and better ones (on the other platforms had they had almost no videos at all...). It would help significantly to also invest in enriching the provided puzzles / games.
- We have seen other platforms offer games, where, for example, employees of the company can compete against each other while working together in groups to achieve a common goal (e.g., eliminate a fictional security threat that has "hit" the company. Plan the steps needed to be taken, take the steps one after another and have a chance to see the impact each action has. At the end the team that has suffered the least cost to end the threat is the one that wins. Just an example. The point is to make this challenging, using gamification and to make the employees part of the prevention force of the company against cybersecurity threats.
- There is really no way one can make all the needed trainings with in house resources anymore! The cost for this would be way way more than that of any platform!
- There is no way to even calculate the damage a company would suffer in case of a cybersecurity breach! So the cost for the use of the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform if minimal compared to that of a possible breach!
- The cost of creating content for security awareness training is no longer realistic for a company. This is really no option, and it is in no way comparable to the cost of access to the training material available in the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform. Also the training content needs to be constantly updated!
It goes without saying that as new threats arise this automatically creates the need for training content. Also as one has already used the available content once, or twice the need for training content arises even for the repeated training topics. If one would use the same content again and again this would be less effective and people would get bored and disinterested.
We have opted the upload our user in the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform with the provided full CSV template that has all the needed fields. There is also an option for a simple upload of only the e-mail addresses and another option for Active Directory integration. Uploading the CSV file is the best option, but other may find the active directory integration more suiting!
We are mainly interested in 2 reports for our company. First one is that we want to follow the improvement of the results of the phishing attack simulation scores. Second one has to do with following of the completion of the training of our users. This is important so that we can step in in the cases where the users have neglected to participate in the training.
One of the other platforms may have some features where they excel. This is to be expected. But there is no other platform that covers all the topics and most of them very well, as KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training does. Also there is no other platform that offers such a huge number of video trainings like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training does!

The huge library of video trainings was the key factor that made us choose the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform. There is simply no other platform that comes even close to the number of KnowBe4 training videos. Also we found no other platform so complete as the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform. It just offers everything one can wish for in the direction of cybersecurity awareness trainings and phishing attack simulations!
We would again follow the same process. Evaluate the most available platforms, or at least as many as we can spare the time to evaluate and compare the offered features on all those platforms. Make a matrix to document the features, strong and weak points of each platform. There is no way you can go wrong if you do this and this would at this time again lead to selecting the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform!

We negotiated to get the access to the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform and a short onboarding training.
The platform is so easy to configure, so we would suggest not to get any onboarding training at all!
