Likelihood to Recommend LinkedIn Talent Solutions is the best way to search & find qualified candidates. For profiles with fewer qualifications, there is often little information filled in by the candidates (only job titles) and it takes a lot more phone screening to find the candidate with all the required skills. The statistics tab helps you learn more about our use of the platform and what our response rates are. The saved searches are really convenient and help us to easily expand our network of candidates.
Read full review I can't think of any reason why anybody looking for a job opportunity would not be involved with LinkedIn Jobs. It's one of the more active social media job sites and if you are active on LinkedIn (which you should be) you have a great opportunity to show your achievements and talent to job posters. The "Easy Apply" link, although great for companies hiring large groups of people may not be for somebody who is looking for a specialized role as that would take a more personal approach.
Read full review Pros UI - Pretty easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. Large platform of candidates. I can't find a better platform for finding professional candidates Ability to post jobs - easy to use. Attracts more of the right qualified candidates than any platform that I have posted on. Read full review The job offers board is one of the things that stands out most positively on LinkedIn Jobs, since I can know all the job offers that are open for all sectors of my company and I can also see the candidates that are in each offer of employment. Interview scheduling is one of the best features of LinkedIn Jobs. It allows you to schedule exact time and exact day for face-to-face meetings in order to carry out a more consolidated interview, in addition, it sends notifications to the candidate so that they can appear for the interview at the right time. I can have access to the CV of each candidate. LinkedIn Jobs offers me a very detailed CV of each of the candidates and this allows me to quickly know the qualities that each candidate has. I can handle job applications much better. It was a very tedious job when we did this manually and we did a lot of paperwork to organize the received requests. LinkedIn Jobs has made that manual work is avoided, thanks to the automated system to organize the requests. Read full review Cons The cost is significant, especially for the more robust options You can't easily collaborate with team members unless they have a license as well Support tickets can take awhile to resolve, I've had one (bug with spend tracking) that took 2 months to resolve Read full review We have found to get the reach that we want, LinkedIn Jobs has been an expensive endeavor. The free postings do not get very far on LinkedIn Jobs. For Large scale hired, LinkedIn Jobs is not beneficial at all. It does not do a good job at keeping a large influx of candidates coming through. Some of the candidates end up being in other locations and therefore some have been unwilling to relocate or to fulfill job descriptions. In some ways, the wide reach works to a disadvantage when reaching candidates that do not even realize where the position is located. LinkedIn Jobs needs to do a better job with location based searches. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Asking price really versus quality. Not a bad thing, but budget can be a problem.
Read full review Usability Because of the misinformation on job location, I give a low rating and this is the reason for my entire review.
Read full review Support Rating Support isn't that great. Just average I'd say. A lot of the time when things go wrong, there is nothing the support person can do. It's just the way they are set up and it takes them usually 24 hours to respond to a ticket which to me is far too long, but they are overall just okay.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I think the main thing about Linkedin is how global it has become. People might not know of other tools but they know about LinkedIn and everyone wants to be there or is learning that they have to be there to get good opportunities and build a network by using social platforms that aren't just focused on the social aspect.
Read full review LinkedIn has better integration with its existing social media platform, allowing for the recruiter to accurately view a client's history. Furthermore, it shows reviews and work done by the potential recruit. In contrast,
ZipRecruiter does not show as much insight into a client which can lead to time wasted with phone calls and other communication.
Read full review Return on Investment The majority of our ROI come from referrals, but LinkedIn Talent Solutions has also helped us find candidates. If they referral doesn't pan out, then Workable is usually next, followed by LinkedIn. LinkedIn Talent Solutions has gotten more expensive and has eliminated the Small Business offering so we did not renew. It just became to costly based on the ROI. Clients always like that we have access to post jobs to LinkedIn Talent Solutions because they consider LinkedIn legitimate and professional.
