Chose TeamViewer
TeamViewer is much faster and had fewer connectivity issues as well as configuration issues as compared to GoToMeeting and LogMeIn. TeamViewer also has a free version that can be used for non-commercial personal use that makes it easily accessible. TeamViewer is competitively …
The application works very well across all platforms - Windows, Windows Phone, Andriod, Linux, Mac, IOS. There is no doubt, that no matter the end users' OS or platform that we can confidently access their device for a quick and easy resolution. The TeamViewer application is …
Parallels works just like a window or application on the Mac. Hence, it is beneficial to keep both OS versions hand in hand. Parallels is very useful when writing code for mobile/iOS applications. File sharing and paste functions are very easy to use. More than one machine can be taken on Parallels. It also integrates with Microsoft Intune. It can run other OS versions other than Windows.
TeamViewer is really useful when someone in our team is having a technical issue and needs quick help and for penetration tester like us we can connect TeamViewer anytime to fix their vulnerabilities that we got from their system while connected through TeamViewer.
File Transfer - You can easily transfer files between Parallels virtualized desktops and the host desktop either through Copy and Paste functionality, or Drag and Drop. You can also configure shared folders.
Switch Between Virtual and Host Desktop - You can configure swipe gestures on a MacBook Pro to be able to switch between the virtualized and host desktop. You can also launch apps from the OS X Taskbar.
Performance - Apps in Parallels run quite smoothly on my 2015 MacBook Pro, as of 2020. Considering they are running on a 5-year-old computer, I give Parallels top marks for performance.
With data-driven insights from TeamViewer, you are guaranteed of enhanced service quality due to the summarized and detailed action logs. Additionally, teams can are able to troubleshoot swiftly, while handover or review of cases becomes fast which results in faster issue resolution.

it helps with connecting remotely to experts, colleagues, or our stakeholders
With an iPad, you can't take control of the device, so you have to tell someone what to do. Which can be a challenge because the end user doesn't know what to do
With the free version of TeamViewer you cant enter Admin credentials because TeamViewer blocks the windows to fill in the credentials
The free version can be really limited which can be putting off people because they don't see the full potential of TeamViewer
Users are familiar with the application which will keep us going for a little while. However since we are seeing a decline for a need for the software, I wouldn't be surprised to find that this answer changes dramatically in the near future. We would probably keep it to some extent, but we would probably reduce our licensing count.
We need this tool in our day to day business. It is what we do all day remoting into clients devices. In this day and age we can access devices all over the world as long as we have secure internet connection. It certainly saves money in gas, and even if you are away you can help.
It has a good integration, including the connection of peripherals. Taking files back and forth works well and I can attach my Home drive as a network drive in Windows. There is even integration with iCloud and other macOS services. There are also a few different display modes which are useful and fleixible (coherence, windowed, full-screen with multiple screens)
TeamViewer is a reliable and really strong tool for accessing remote IT platforms secure and fast. We don't know any product that provide us such strong functionality to make our life as a internationally recognized MES provider with DIAMES with an international clientele so easy. We look forward for any new TeamViewer functionality that supports us even more.
So, this rating is a little skewed toward older behavior from Parallels, as I haven't had to contact them recently. However, in an older version of Parallels, an "update" included pop-ups urging users to upgrade to the latest version, implying that their current version wouldn't work for the latest MacOS. I found it very frustrating to be getting ads for a new version of the software in a version I had already paid for. I contacted support about this and got a generic, uncaring response. It was pretty disappointing.
the few times i have had to contact teamviewer support, they were very responsive and give me quick answers and seemed to understand my problems quickly and easily. I did not have to sit on the phone for hours on hold or get passed around to multiple phone support techs before finding a solution to my issues, so i would rate their support very highly.
As expected without any problem! Alternate in-person training is another efficient way to learn how a product works. There are many third party supporters for TeamViewer courses available that can give additional ideas how to use TeamViewer for specific functions and features as we did require in respect of our usage.
I have never used the online training either. I have watched a few informational videos that were helpful when learning how to do a specific procedure within TeamViewer and get the most out of the software by utilizing one of the many features that are available with the software. Again, 5 if for neutral.
TeamViewer is a one of kind solution that had a smooth and effective implementation process. We did not experience any challenges when implementing TeamViewer. Since the day of implementation, this remote access solution has been so effective and productive to our team members
Main two features that made the balance decission go to the Parallels Desktop were the possibility to pause the Windows partition easily (allowing to consume less resources in Mac and save battery) and the other one is the user interface feature called "Coherence" with allows you to show the Windows application windows as if they were native to the macOS, allowing for a better user experience.
We selected TeamViewer due to its unique suite of features. Comparing connection latency with other platforms, TeamViewer outperformed them while being more performant, using fewer system resources. Unlike other platforms, which keep alerts about usage plans and advertise the installation of other software (like Chrome, which is advertised by AnyDesk), TeamViewer provides a sleek and modern interface with no disruptions.
Saves money on having to buy a Windows and MacBook, as the MacBook can run almost 99% of all Windows software and usually run it faster and share between your MacBook transparently.
Gives employers the most flexibility with regards to which OS to adopt across an enterprise
We are a media company and everyone uses Macs in our industry, Fortune 500 companies also use Windows and MS Project, Parallels gives you the most flexibility for almost all of these use cases
Improves efficiency as the MacBook Pro M3 systems are much faster than some of the fastest corporate issued Windows laptops. What takes me 3-10 seconds for a video export can take 5 minutes on a similar Windows laptop
We started seeing benefits from TeamViewer within the first 3 months. Initially we saw immediate savings reducing travel time and costs for support visits. Within the first quarter, we’d already cut travel-related expenses by around 15-20%, which quickly added up. As the team became more familiar with the software and we streamlined our processes, the time savings from faster issue resolution grew, further improving our ROI.
It has really reduces travel cost. Saved us approximately 30% on travel expense by handling most tasks remotely instead of sending technicians on site.
We are able to resolve issues way faster within minutes.
Faster service delivery has contributed to better client retention and stronger relationships.
