Great remote connection software.
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
With a small team of IT Techs, we need to connect to different computers for troubleshooting. It's only feasible if we use a remote software such as TeamViewer or Splashtop. TeamViewer allows us to fix issues remotely and connect with external service providers, such as DelmiaWorks, for secure access and troubleshooting.
Pros
- Secure access to PC from outside service providers.
- Internal team collaboration.
- IT troubleshooting.
Cons
- Use as SOS software.
- manage endpoint policies.
- Direct account-based connection instead of one-time credentials.
- Used TeamViewer to connect to faraway computers in the plant, resulting in time savings.
- Sometimes getting it started is slow, and reading credentials to the other party is complicated.
- Outside service providers benefitted with us using TeamViewer.
Almost immediately.
TeamViewer's cost is much lower than that of other solutions, and its security is far superior to RemotePC's. TeamViewer is also a request-based remote session manager, unlike other software that allows indefinite connection time. TeamViewer's free version makes it even better for one end of the group to find support, while the other end has the paid version.
