TeamViewer a handy tool
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
As a small business, we use TeamViewer for remote support, collaboration, and troubleshooting. It allows us to quickly assist employees and clients with technical issues without needing to be onsite, saving time and travel costs. We have a lot of employees that work at home or at our other location. For our Service desk, it's a great tool to help remotely. We use TeamViewer company wide.
Pros
- Quick support is an nice feature to make it easy for the end user to download and use
- Easy to connect using numbers
- The connection is always good when connected to an end user
- The tool is easy to use, the buttons are easy to understand what the use for it is
Cons
- With an iPad, you can't take control of the device, so you have to tell someone what to do. Which can be a challenge because the end user doesn't know what to do
- With the free version of TeamViewer you cant enter Admin credentials because TeamViewer blocks the windows to fill in the credentials
- The free version can be really limited which can be putting off people because they don't see the full potential of TeamViewer
- Cost saving on travel expenses
- The solution for the problem takes 50% less time
- All around happiness of the IT department goes up because of the tickets that don't require an IT employee on site
Right away with the use of TeamViewer. We can use one less remote engineer. The Servicedesk can complete more remote tickets and the time of solving the problem decreases.
First of all the overall experience of TeamViewer feels and looks user friendly more than AnyDesk. The secure connection of 256-bit AES encryption and RSA 2048-bit key exchange. With TeamViewer, experienced users have numerous advanced options to help employees effectively, while with AnyDesk, you don't get. The mobile version of TeamViewer has almost the same options as the desktop version.
