Likelihood to Recommend Search Spring offers strong options for search customizations: synonyms, redirects, query replacements, spell corrections, etc. We enjoy the ability to boost and unique product display options. We were 4Tell customers prior to the Search Spring acquisition and we're looking forward to both being part of one console. Search Spring is a really solid, stable search/merch platform that I would recommend for any mid-market business.
Read full review Any business that needs to keep track of orders and payments would benefit from Shopify Plus. Customers information, orders, and payments are all saved and available for reference. You are able to refer to past orders to review trends and offer future purchase suggestions. Shopify Plus is also easy to use so it does not take long to train employees how to use this system.
Read full review Pros SearchSpring can pull in products that match specific terms according to your customizations in their dashboard. SearchSpring can change the main image of products to reflect what is being searched for, such as a specific color. SearchSpring can account for misspellings and typos in the search bar by using search customizations. Read full review Scales incredibly well. Forget about hardware concerns, load balancing, downtime, etc. and focus on eCommerce. We've seen merchants go from a few thousand dollars per month to having million dollar days, all on Shopify without having to worry about performance or scaling systems. Great new features consistently being added, ahead of the curve on almost everything Solid API to build on and work with, a few annoying quirks here and there for super complex use cases but overall very well documented and works well Most Merchant Success Managers are good and genuinely want to be helpful A fantastic user interface, very logical and easy to use Tons and tons and tons of out of the box integrations. At the moment we can only serve results based on either 'relevancy' or 'sales performance'. It would be great to not only have the ability to blend these two options (by search term), but also add additional facets into the mix, such as stock quantity, margin, sponsorship factor etc... Provide financing reporting on results - so we know how much revenue/conversion has been driven from specific search terms. For example, "Baby Milk" drove 50 searches, 6 direct conversions (customers that searched went on to buy an item(s) that were recommended), 16 indirect conversions (customers that searched went on to buy other item(s) not severed). Read full review The Account Managers/Reps have become more scripted and seem like they are busier and handling more clients than before. It doesn't seem as personal and special anymore like when we first upgraded to Plus. Shopify still has missing features in their software that might not have an app in their app marketplace available that fills this void. The 24/7 support doesn't seem as dedicated as they once were. Read full review Usability Again, it is the ease of creating new customers, new items, new shipping rates, and processing these quickly. Once you have set up a new price list or B2B customer, orders can be easily processed and the staff do not need to remember who is and who is not a trade customer. A lot of time is saved
Read full review Support Rating We have a monthly phone call with our account manager, and she is available for calls in between as well. She has always been accessible. Working with her has been easy and she has provided training where needed. She is proactive in making sure we have everything we need and feel comfortable with the platform.

Read full review Shopify had the quickest go-to-market and most robust API among the products we compared. CommerceCloud required a VERY LONG integration phase that we just didn't have time for.
BigCommerce fell short on the number of features and API coverage that we needed. Overall Shopify gave us the most bang for the buck.
